Ok guys. I know this is not the answer you guys are looking for but I think I have found a workaround until this is fixed.

Of course you need to change the GROUPIDNUMBERHERE to your group id. I do NOT know if this works for private groups but it is there if you want to give it is shot. Again...sorry this is not a fix but hopefully at least a workaround.
