There are a lot of items on site that are currently marked as Account Upgrade when they shouldn't. Way back, one of the programmers accidentally changed all items type and and I are still fixing them.

If you find an item that is marked something other than Account Upgrade, please post here to let us know! We are aware there are items mismarked as Account Upgrade, though. :)

We usually use special as a type when an item can be filed under nothing else, which is pretty rare now a days. :)

Hey guys, I've been working on these. Don't worry about anything listed as "special" or "account upgrade" for now. It's easier for me to just search by item type and go through those and fix hundreds of them at once. If you find things that are listed incorrectly (like plushie instead of food) please let me know and I'll snag those! Off to work on the "account upgrade" ones right now.

This is a fine place to report them, it just isn't the hugest priority! I've actually been going through when I have chunks of time and recategorizing everything from the start (like I did with rarities), what with all of the various category errors and changes. We're streamlining and removing a lot of them to make it more efficient, working on our tagging system behind the scenes, and making categories better across the board.
