Last night I finished my pet Phinean's TC! http://subeta.net/petinfo.php?petid=879179 I will probably resize it and make it wider since I don't like the two uneven items on the last line. There's one TC item I'm hesitant on buying since it's so expensive but at least I got all the rest in! He's done; but I won't be putting his nomination link on since he's not appropriate for the spotlight anyway haha.

I'm just sad I don't have the money to get the other 19 slots I can still buy. xD But most of the names I'd want are taken anyway, so I'd have to go looking for alternatives. I'm just glad that 3/4 of the pets I made this time were able to have their names, and Vampiress works as a name for the other one.

I'm actually running out of characters, now. I only have 6 more in the world my pets are in, and only 2 of those would be telenines(since I was using telenines for werewolf characters, though I broke that rule with Watchful). Of course, I had some vague ideas for characters/worlds that wound up not working out, so maybe I can adapt them. :P

Oh that's really nice of you! Are they just waiting to get more slots as well? Hopefully you'll be able to make your neela soon! I'm glad I'm not the only one who would go crazy with the random pet slots. :)

I hear you! You have some lovely pets! I know what you mean. I was really nervous that someone was going to take the names I wanted before I had a chance to create them. Thankfully there are a lot of good names still so it seems like odds are good that it won't happen. I've had a couple though that several people were clearly watching and have been snatched before I could create them. I've also noticed sometimes they purge early. Woof purged a day before it was "supposed" to and luckily my friend noticed and told me.

Yeah she is going to get a slot soon, but she is one of my best friends from online, who I actually met on neopets haha. So we knew each other before I joined subeta and she's helped me with so much! But I wouldn't mind doing that for other friends too xD

What names did you get by the way?

WOAH 19 slots is a lot! I wish I could buy all of my slots too while they're on sale xP

Oh that's so nice! :) I have a dear friend I met years ago from Neopets as well. She used to play subeta but she has kind of drifted away, but we keep in touch in RL so that's nice!

Thank you! I'm hoping that maybe I can get the one that's clearing in December, but I've never really stalked a name. I just tend to search for the name I want and if it's currently free, great, if not, I find another name. /shrug This time around, Nenet and Daere were on inactive accounts, and Vampiress and Ulfred were free. ^^

Yeah, I've got: 6 from pet slot plushies and early totems (max 10). 4 from pet slot loyalty totems. 0 from new slot additions (max 15)

I was also on Neopets! Played for 3 years before I noticed a Subeta icon on the avatar list site(I forget what it was called, haha). I wound up switching to Subeta and haven't played Neo very much since then.

Are the plushies and early totems not available anymore? I have been a neo player for like 14 years on and off, but a bunch of my neofriends made a group on facebook and they all also played subeta so they got me and a few other people converted over to here!

I play both now which is bad for my time online, but I am a graduate student and like to be distracted from the piles of writing I have to do.

The plushies used to be in the cash shop, but got switched out for the handy button we have now. Early totems is referring to the time when the system couldn't distinguish between loyalty totems and plushies. You either used 10 plushies to hit the max then used totems to get past that, or you used the totems before hitting the max and they wound up counting towards the limit. I've technically only gotten 4 loyalty totems, but I was around for a couple of times where they gave out a free totem to everybody if I remember correctly(might've only been once, but I don't remember buying any slots before now).

These were actually all untaken I think except for Seasons. Yes, Seasons was inactive. He was a glade kumos! I always feel a little bad when I take inactive names. :/

I still have a neopets account but I just can't get myself to be active. I tried... even got their premium account and still couldn't find inspiration. There just seems to be a lot more to do here, and the community is much friendlier. Was neopets down? I don't think I've been active for a couple of years now. I sign in like every month or so and then I get bored right away. Haha. I agree, subeta is much more addictive :D

HAHA yes me too! I love Subeta! <3 I am so careless with my sP, but I am addicted to buying things for my wardrobe and I have all the pets I want already so I justify it that way.

Now if I could just work on their characters and treasures -_-

Thanks! I was surprised it wasn't taken. I'm not sure if the color entirely fits the character I have in mind, but it's the closest out of all the Lasiruses and I definitely wanted a bat.

Haha no I definitely do. I've always been worried someone would come back from hiatus and be upset I'd taken their name. But I try to remember that they've not signed in for a whole year but still. Little bit of guilt there. :P

I was doing really good with my treasures and then I kind of got too busy with school. I am on break though and so I added a few things to Woodnymph's treasure and also took out items I wasn't really liking from a couple pets' collections.

I am kind of thinking about starting a gallery of "things I like" but that could turn out to be a disaster.

I understand that. That's good! I like Woodnymph's treasures so far. And her overlay. So cute!! I really want to start working on Rockabye's treasures but I'm not sure what to do. Was thinking old toys maybe.

Hehe that could really get out of hand fast! I was just thinking about doing another collection after I'm done w/ the elixir and potion collection, but I just don't know what I'd collect. Was thinking maybe purple/lavender colored items. Haha.

Oo purple/lavender items would be awesome! All my pet treasures are really similar in that they are all flowery/nature themed, other than Athia's.
