Me either. So this is really weird. I imagine as I figure out more and more of their backgrounds (parents' social status, heritage, etc.) I'll inch closer to what kind of name they should have. I don't really have to explain them to other people (they live solely in the pages of my notebook for now) and are labeled simply 'woman', 'child' and 'girl'. xD As basic as it gets.
You can definitely earn back the price of a 1 week ga from autpricing your shop if it's well stocked ahead of time. Mine just ran out some days ago and I got around 15 mill on the first day and around 40 mill total I think. And that's not counting whatever sp I earned from quests. Just an example of course but the autopricer really is worth it.
Ooh, great (now I envy all the GA users that can afford it for long time xD) now I just need good things to my shop :D

Yay for another pet with a bird TC! :D I can't think of anything uber expensive bird-wise aside from the pirate/island plot minions and maybe some of the CS ones. But you should be able to fill her TC without spending a fortune.
BIRDS EVERYWHERE I'm looking mainly for realistic looking birds and there are non in the pirate/islander shop (except one. oh no, it's cute ;-; ) so I think I'm good :D maybe just the collections and three cs minions >u>

Which one is it that's caught your eye? Maracaw or Keetot? :D They're both kind of realistic/cute.
I missed Keetot somehow, great now there's two cute birds I won't get ;w;

Go stuff that shop. Even small things add up and are probably more likely to be bought by questers. ;)
I actually have a couple saved in a document, but I suck at filling them out. x) But yeah, those are the things I need to figure out. Just trying a different route this time. Like instead of sitting here saying she (the 'girl' is who I've been focusing on most) should be short because I think it'd be cute my train of thought is more like this: she currently lives out of her pretty impractical car so to be able to sleep in that without going all hunchbacked she has to be relatively petite.
Wow, that's pretty good. I wish I could think like that too but I'm stuck in the kind of mindset like the first one, "because it'd be cute". xD
The thing I'm struggling with right now is my new pet's layout. I want to do something different from the rest of my profiles, and I already have a picture I want to use on the layout, but everything I try planning out looks way too cluttered. The picture itself is of the character, but it's awkwardly shaped so I have to figure out how to place the components of the pet profile. Like do I just fit everything in around him and look cluttered or do I cover him up a bit so it will be even? Ugh
Hehe, that's how I've usually done it too. This is sort of an experiment.
Planning profiles can be difficult when you want a lot of content. You can try to play with opacity if whatever program you use does that. That way you can place content partially over the image without completely covering it.
I'll have to try that experiment someday also. :)
I think I want to have most of the information in the same place, separated and hidden with anchor links. Figuring out where to put the rest (like the overlay and minion) is a bit complicated because the treasure chest has to be a certain width, so I have to accommodate it.
Bleh. I'm having problems coming up with a clear look for Mary Sue. I want her to be very 50's pin up style.

you mean like a character design? i could probably help you with that if you want.
It's definitely a fun change to try out. I'll probably hit some limitations somewhere though. xD Like facial features and such... I'd have to really get into it if I want details like that to be decided by her actions... Although I suppose habits and little quirks could probably lead me there. Funny how talking (typing) about these things help get the creative juices flowing. :D
Don't know if you've already tried or thought of this but if it's design trouble maybe try some dressup games? They might not give you the full picture of what you want but they can probably help you visualize and give you the chance to play with some of the elements you're looking for/having trouble with. I know there are a few with 50's/pinup themes.
Unless of course what you're having trouble with is quad design. That might be trickier. x)
Nope never have. And I doubt I ever will. Don't think it's for me. Although it really is a great way to develop characters. I know that. If you roleplay all the more power to you.
Gahhhh. I need to actually work on Lethallan's storrry. I gave myself the goal of getting stories for all 20 by the middle of August. I only have one started and it's a real WIP. I'm probably going to lower my expectations of myself.
GOAL FOR SUMMER OF 2015 *Stories for: Lethallan, Georgiane, Kirkwall, Hinterlands, and Martell *Profiles for: Lethallan, Georgiane, and Kirkwall -Lethallan is in the works already *Put everything that's sitting in my storage gallery into the respective TCs -Try not to get lost in Lethallan and Speakeasy's TCs. HELLHOLES I TELL YOU *Stop being lazy and get art for: Lethallan, Georgiane, Kirkwall, Cullen.,and Lethallin -Lethallan is in the works (again)

You can do it! You only have to do a story per 1-2 weeks. That's... doable.
And all the art/profile stuff is just to find someone to commission then it's basically out of your hands.
Good luck with completing those goals, you can do it :D
I've tried to put together little to do list cause I don't have anything to do whole summer and realized I don't want to work on/ have no idea what to do with half of my pets e_e
