I usually avoid describing scenery and stuff. Except you know, with Lanj I will have to describe that stupid forest again. ;-;

But you can do it. If anything they're character is masq based right. Find the image of the masq ballroom and describe that. That way you won't have to pull it out of thin air.

Its her own personal Ballroom. I've got 360 words done. I'm not entirely sure what I should do with this story. Do I just describe the ball? Or should there be some sort of twist?

@ nonchalant I can code pretty much anything but I'm pretty bad at designing pet pages so I always just end up... idk taking a piece of art and sticking it on a colored background or something. If at all xD One day I will tackle someone with imagination and pay/blackmail them to work for me xD

I usually get stuck writing because I have no idea what to write or just keep on staring at the first sentence, trying to make it perfect -_-

I've told many people - just write until the whole story is done. Don't worry about how shit it may be, because you need the outline first. And the easiest way to do it is to write and write and write and once everything happens that you want... step away for a day or two. Then come back, re-read and edit anything you don't like or want to add in. THEN send it to one of us here (A lot of us are totally willing to edit & make suggestions) and we'll edit and stuff and then re-work it. And send it to us again etc etc.

That is the BEST way to do it.

Sadly, I had to stop working on the story. I came downstairs to go to the bathroom and my niece was wandering around without any adult supervision. So that happened. Which is pretty awesome. So now I'm downstairs and I don't think I'll get to work on it while I'm down here just because I'm not logging into my google account on this PC. Could get my laptop I suppose, but that makes it harder to run away when adults show up.

What do I do if I don't know what to write about though. My characters tend to either have stories that are a mile long... and I mean, like, years and years of storyline... or none at all and I never know what to do xD You know, whether to try hinting at the whole thing or just focus on getting the personality through.

Ah, one of those stories I have one like that. I started writing it, but then it got to 3k words and I had to finally stop because holy hell. And its no where being done. BUT it is the pet story that encompasses 5 of my pets - so there is that at least.

Well part contest, part because he needs a good reference image. I used to do these for my characters. Somewhere along the way I just got too lazy/started doing awful doodles or image composites instead.

tbh I'm very new to coding but I'll see what I can do. Looks to me you've got your background on :repeat so it tiles instead of showing a single image, and since the image is smaller than the average screen reso, it doesn't fill it and thus duplicates unless you use [ background:no-repeat ] but then it will only show up once in top left corner.

I could create a profile background that uses that image if you want + code it for you? Vincere's profile is the only one I've coded so far and that has been with tremendous lurking around the coding forums, but I think I could come up with at least something? I have no idea how to do those fancy sliding divs though (I need to learn how to do that lmao) but anything you see on his profile I should be able to recreate :')

If you want to art something, Vincere and Privilege are the only ones with any actual designs so far (Priv's fullbody is on my profile actually )

the format is quite difficult to read because the pace is really dense and it hasn't been paragraphed yet, but otherwise it looks very promising (and heartbreaking D: ). I'm curious to see where the story is going!
