It's a really depressing thing. I try to not think about it all that often XD
A wise choice. I've learned that as soon as I get an idea I write that shit down on the their profile so I neer forget. I was startled when I clicked on a pet and had the character already planned. It was brilliant.

@ nonchalant I've got a few trades up for prize donations - MKBs, tc fodder, some books and some battle loot/plushies/minions. and a couple of food items for the foodies. clicky. they're the three reserved lots. :) possibly more to come once I can get into my wardrobe!

Its nearly 11pm here so I'm just fucking around avoiding writing because thats how I roll. Considering working on Yarrr some more, even though I figured I'd put it off longer. But I want him done so I can open up his spotlight thing.

I little late getting online today but thanks. I am feeling a little better - no sneezing so much so that is a win. Hopefully another good night of sleep will help me get better even more. I was also a successful adult and managed to get some up to date cold meds (whoop).
And thanks re: Clym :) There are certain elements of her story that are based on the Greek mythology (e.g. her weapon of choice being a double bladed axe) but as to how far it goes, that would be a spoiler ;) The shadow magic is something I am quite excited to figure out, it's an idea that has been swimming around in my head for years.
@ nonchalant okay 1. I really like the tone of this story, I think I'm turning into a Yarrr!fangirl. Iwanttohughim. 2. the changes I made were pretty much minimal, so I've just stuck them under a spoiler, rather than mar your pretty doc @@; it's all just small stylistic stuff, really, so disregard anything I've changed if you don't feel it suits the tone of the story. :)

“Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me.â€
Alfie leaned back against the mast from his perch in the crows nest. His eyes were closed and his face lifted towards the sun in the sky. He hummed along with the song the crew was singing below, their spirits lifted after the storm clouds that had plagued them for a week finally cleared. The seas had been rough, the skies a dark grey and the storms had been relentless. Everyone was relieved that the sun had finally come out, none more so than Alfie.
Tucked away from sight in the crows nest, he pulled out his leather bound journal and the bit of bread and cheese he had wrapped in a spare shirt. He took a bite of the cheese before putting his pen to paper.
Day 47 It is hard to explain how good it is to be above decks again without worrying about a wave crashing over the side of the ship to take me to a watery grave. I’ve spent more time cooped up below deck than I ever wanted, but the other crew members say its just part of the life we lead. More often than not, the weather will turn foul and you should just appreciate the days like today. We’re in the middle of the ocean. The sky is a brilliant blue and there isn’t a cloud to be seen. It’s humbling, being out in this vast emptiness. You feel so small, so alone. I suppose that is why everyone is so rejuvenated after the storm. Clear calm days have a way of making you feel insignificant but when they come around after terrible weather, they make you feel like the king. You lived through something, you are strong, you are tough. You are a force that even mother nature couldn’t destroy.
Alfie took another bite of his cheese and broke off a bit of bread. Popping them into his mouth he peeked his head over the side of the crows nest to glance down at the crew below. They were still singing and going about their work. It didn’t seem like anyone was looking for him, yet.
I have to admit that while the seas were trying to murder us all, I was huddled in my bunk trying my hardest to hide my tears. When I ran away from home to join the crew, I hadn’t quite imagined the terrible parts of the life of a pirate. I only thought of adventures, riches and a life of freedom on the sea. It is astounding to think that the dangers that are out there, from others and from nature itself, how thrilling I still find it all. I wish I could write home to mother and tell her I am okay, explain to her why I needed to get away and find myself on the open sea.. But couriers are in short supply out here in the middle of the ocean, so I suppose my letter home will have to wait until we get to the next port.
I'll see if I can think of any contests, too. I've already got ma thinking cap on, might as well use it :')

So I put 113 items on Transcribe's TC list. I have no idea what instruments I'm missing, though. I just went with music shop stuff and skipped duplicates(didn't want 6-7 electric guitars and what not).
Also working on Journeyman's story and TC. Nearly finished writing, but I have no clue what to do with his TC. ><
Edit: Got the rest of his story up! 2k words. Technically the story itself is unfinished, but the next part is from Erynn's point of view, so Journeyman's part is done. ^^
Well I think I know why I never though of sand items... because I never thought of anything but offerings for her treasure. And who'd give a bucketful of sand to the goddess. But I should probably still put some sand in there. Or maybe use them in the story or something.
oh god, i coudn't turn my computer on whole morning, it was just making weird noises, i thought it went bye bye forever O_O; (i have the worst and slowest computer ever btw xD) i got idea for Kayi few days ago, so i was working on her design in spare time >w> (and i'm pretty sorry for not being much active here, im really lazy just to write something shot)
