in other news, i've done shit-all with my pets since i got sick, hence my lack of posts :( well, i've been zapping my zapper pet pretty diligently, and he's turned into practically every experiment except for the one i want

i'm trying to get a 0507. the worst part of it is i already HAVE that experiment, just attached to the wrong pet. if it weren't for stat distribution, i'd just do a name swap (the experiment is my second strongest pet, the character i now want to be a 0507 really does not suit being my second strongest pet, and this is apparently a big enough deal to make me do things The Hard Way)

but instead, weeks and/or months of zapping! i've already decided if i make it to black friday with no luck, i'm just buying a MPII

So I've gotten Cactus Cat's profile mostly worked out(I still wanna do something with the background), and I started working on his treasure. Unfortunately, I had no idea there were so many alcoholic drinks on this site. xP And so far I've only wishlisted what's from the Lounge and the Brewery, yikes. At least Tiiqi's treasure is mostly finished, except for one item I hope gets re-released for Black Friday.

Haha, yeah the lounge is a bitch for people who have pets that drink :(

I have a few who drink since their mobsters - but god damn it I am going to need to get a ton of trinkets next march to get these :(

Fortunately I only have the one pet whose TC will include all those. Transcribe's character works at a bar, technically, but I want his TC to be music based. I haven't started making a list, though. I need to get around to doing that for him, Barkus, and Seventh. The rest either have lists or don't have particular themes yet.

My biggest challenge will be motivating myself to do some art. I haven't liked doing that as much as writing, lately, and I'm really bad at drawing humans(which most of my characters are). x_x

high fives back I'm decent at drawing canines, though, so maybe I should focus on doing wolf form pics for my werewolves first(all of my Telenines are werewolves; I hope to have one in every special color eventually). I did do lineart/coloring/shading on a pretty cute bunny the other day based on a sketch my mom wanted me to finish for her. One of my best pics to date, I think. ^_^ Although part of that is probably the new coloring techniques I tried, which ended up working far better than my old techniques.

I usually do sketches on paper, then lineart, coloring, etc. in Photoshop. Sometimes I do sketches in Photoshop, but it can be a pain even with a tablet(I dunno if it's the tablet or just me, but I don't like it very much, haha).
