Same here, I only got my 2 before the forum change. Maybe we'll notice more of an increase after the option to use it for CSC and such is removed?

- Maybe? I don't know. I know that we're not meant to get one every post or even every 10 posts, but I've seen people with thousands of posts that have only gotten like 5 tickets.

I just had a thought, does the area you post in matter I wonder? I don't think posts in the games area count towards a person's total, so would it still be possible to find a raffle ticket? Hmm...

- I saw someone on another board say that they were pretty sure they had gotten one before in an area where your posts don't add to your total. And I think I remember a couple of my raffle tickets came from the event threads (survival, masquerade, etc), so I don't think it matters where the post is.

I've only ever managed to get 1 raffle ticket in all my time here and it was that long ago I don't even remember what I got for it, hmm might have even put it in my hoarding shop lol who knows, I do think from all the feed back I've read so far that if I get raffle tickets I'll use them in the shop as it seems a better option for their use.

Its completely random. I don't know what its like on the new forums, but on the old forums you used to post and every once in a rare while right after hitting the post button but before getting to the thread you posted to, you would get a new page. It would say "continue to forum" or "go to inventory." I always found it quite startling.

Well I never had it happen before the forum change so that's why I'm a tad confused. I guess it's my fault for not discovering Subeta years ago when I coughs when I used to abuse the University library internet connection to play games in between lectures and tutorials coughs Which I never did.

Well I've got 10,749 posts, so I've earned a few. Not quite enough for the last level and I never saved them sadly because I wanted the use raffle tickets achievements too.

It's all weird IMO. They want to promote the site and yet everything seems tipped in the balance of those who have been here for a long time and who have had time to accumulate lots of items or points from plot's etc. I can understand why new members get disillusioned and just drop out, I almost did. I barely used Subeta for 2012 and the start of 2013, but it was the people I met that eventually brought me back and kept me here.
I don't really mind about the raffle tickets, except........ I so want that blob kitty and I know I'll never get one. But it must suck in you're an achievement .....trying to think of a non-offensive word collector. I figure that some people may get offended if I said 'achievement whore', I personally am one, but only on Live and I don't re-brand what I am. :D

LOL I'd characterize myself that way! But yeah, I get how new users must feel, I've been here over 8 years now and I still feel like I missed out on a lot of things. Sometimes because stuff changes - this is the third (?) achievement system, and while I've got legacy achievements, I didn't have time to earn them all, and the first system is completely gone. Others because a lot of stuff happened before I got here. Then there was a long time that I couldn't get onsite because of a major glitch. Yet I've been here 8 years, must be hell for the newbies.

Part of me wants to cry 'no fair! why do I miss out on all the cool shinies', but I guess it would be just as unfair to change it so much that long term members would suffer. I guess it must be really hard to find a mid point where (nearly) everyone is happy. I also suspect the best way to survive if you're new is if you buy CSC, it's what kept me afloat here, but not everyone can do that. So yeah I reckon it must be really difficult on new members.

I haven't received a raffle ticket in a while. Does anyone know if you can get one for responding to a post ANYWHERE on the forums, or are certain forums excluded (similar to post count)

Has anyone ever figured out the rarity/rate of getting a raffle ticket? I've never gotten one, heck- I post quite a bit I think but I guess maybe it doesn't count towards the forums that "don't count" for your forum posts count.

I was trying to figure out the same thing. Going through my achievements, I've gotten 5 since they've been released. I have had a buff for the last hour and I've been posting as much as I can, but I haven't seen one.

I have gotten a Raffle Ticket for posting in a board where posts "do not count" for your total amount of posts.

has said around 1 in 400, but my analysis for myself is around one in five hundred, so I guess I'm unlucky. I've been here seven and a half years and only have 6000-ish posts, so some of those items I am drooling over will never get by posting.
