Apparently they're bringing the Potter experience to Universal California which is exciting because then I'd only have to commute an hour instead of flying to Orlando!

Hehe flying is fun. My first flight was in 8th grade and I loved it! Taken a number of them since then but not as many as I think I'd like. One day though, I'll travel the world and see the places I've always wanted to see. ^^

i think they are going to be bringing that feature in, i read it in the updates i think. where you are able to alter colours of wigs, though i'm not sure how it will work.

yeah, not long after i joined, i went through all the collections i wanted (stickers, books, plushies, beanbags, pastries and pumpkins) and added them all the my wishlist, i've slowly whittled them down, completed pumpkin and pastries, but there's still tons left! so many collectables!

Personally I think collections are what make the site fun. ^^ I've got a good amount of my collections done, minus pastries (I always forget about that one lol). I also do the books and foods for my pets, though I primarily stick to only 2 of my babes.

so do i ^^ they are one of my favourite parts. though i must say, i love all the holiday events, and the fact that they are pretty much accessible for everyone. ^^ though it gets so addictive trying to get the achievements for dancing, kissing, egg-ing or whatever before the event ends XD plus i love all the wearables and stuff. it's the first site i've been on that i've actually liked the wearable system!

i have 1 pet that gets all the food and books, it's a pet i adopted from the pound thing, so it was the first non-regular coloured pet i have, but it's also got my least favourite name of my pets XD

Thankfully those achievements are usually transferred from year to year and they just add more tiers to make it worth the while. ^^ And yes! The wearable system here is great, as are the artists who make the items and the coders making it all possible. I need to make a list of all the new wearable items this year for Morostide so I can try and get my sticky fingers on them all. xD I'm a huge achievement person as well, and I find it extremely rewarding when I get a new one.

Presently I have my two colored pets (my awesomely expensive Nostalgic Kumos and then my Reborn Tigrean). The Kumos was my first expensive pet on this go-around so kinda like you, he holds a dear spot in my heart. Thankfully though, I managed to get all the names I wanted the first time around (I use a site for baby names from around the world and just pick and choose from there lol). I've switched my liking to my Tigrean though, decided to make him a swashbuckling pirate. xD

i have favourites among my pets too. although Bella gets all the items and things, i love my Kumos, illumis, kora and neela ^^ they all have a special place :D i tend to choose names based on either book characters i like (i have a few named for robin hobby characters, since she's my favourite author) and the rest are just random things that pop into my head at the time of naming :P

i like that things are constantly updated and stuff, and there is always an easy way to sort out problems with the ticket system and stuff. it makes you feel so much more valuable as a member, like they actually care about your experience on the site, instead of just doing it for the money or whatever. it's actually the first site like this that i've given money for stuff, because before i've never thought it was worthwhile, but here, i think it's worth it

I used to think that, however with all this new "security" and issues with terrorists and all that I'm not convinced I'd want to anymore.

They are but I believe it's only with cash shop purchased wigs. :(

That's an awesome way to pick names! I [sadly] don't read enough to get ideas from books for pet names which is why I go with uncommon baby names work lol.

Oh definitely! Constant updates are great and it keeps the site fresh and new even if you do the same thing each and every day. The ticket system is really simple to use and the staff is super quick at responding, which is also great. Feeling involved in the site is the best feeling too.

when i'm writing, i use babynames.com to get unusual names, one of my favourites is Tiassale, which means 'it is forgotten' which i think is just such an unusual name and meaning, i love it :D

yeah, it's great feeling so included in developments in the site, and the staff are so friendly. i always want to hug them when they help me out XD my friend and i both left another site because the staff were terrible, horrible and never asked their members what they wanted or liked, just did whatever they want. we came here almost a year ago and never looked back, we love it :D

OMG. I use babynames.com as well! That's where I got all of my current pet names. 8D And that name is definitely different. Dayyan is probably one of my favorite names I've found.

The only other pet site I've ever been on was Neopets and quite frankly, Subeta trumps Neopets without a doubt, ten fold. I've dappled in a few other sites for short periods of time but nothing's ever as fun as Subeta. There's so much offered here that no other sites offer, and the member involvement is one of them! That's awesome that you came with a friend though. ^^ I found Subeta some 4 or 5 years ago and haven't been truly able to quit since. I've taken hiatuses due to RL stuff like work and school and family, but other than that I've just been stuck lol with no desire to leave.

yeah i think the only thing that neopets has up on this site is that the games are better, but frankly, i'm happy to toss those out for this site any day, it's so much better here! and more adult as well, i prefer the character stories and things too. neopets is just too childish, i love pet games, but they are too often for kids and i am more interested in something that i can enjoy. the friend is chaosdawn who started this thread, we both defected at the same time, determined to find a site that was way better than the previous one. and one of the big deciders was that there was so much to do here, from quests, collections, HA's and things, it was the best choice. we were on another couple of sites for a while, but they kinda whittled away and now we're just here, because it's awesome.

Oh, agreed on all accounts. I enjoy the games we have here. I think the best part is that reaching goals is realistic on Subeta where as on Neopets it's definitely not. You can make a substantial amount of sP every day through games, quests, and personal shop sales that it's just a lot of fun spending and earning and spending some more!

That's awesome! I've tried getting some of my on-line friends to join up here but they're too busy and even when they do join, they never do much of anything. I enjoy everything Subeta has to offer, simply because it's unique and creative and leaves you with so many options.

yeah, the goals are definitely more reachable, though i must say that i got a gold trophy for hannah and the pirate caves, and i think i got silver for hannah and the ice caves. took me forever to do, playing a perfect game of that is practically impossible ><

and i love that you can make so much sp here, it's great. i think i usually get between 2-4 mil a day, more on a saggi bonus day, or events. :D managed about 7mil today! woo!

yeah, i know a couple of other members here from before i joined, but they don't come on here any more. i just keep wishing i could get some of my other friends to join so i can get referrals XD

I never partook in those things sadly. They were fun to read but as you said, still rather childish at times. I like the little things the staff here come up with, like the Morostide plot this year. It's been loads of fun!

7mil is amazing! I've been a bit lazy the past few weeks. Mostly I've been sticking to the Wizard Quests and Saggi's because of sP and Tokens (I like to sell the 1000 Point Tokens for the profit achievement). I just save for my collections though and get what I can when it's available.

OMG I'm the same way. xD I just want the referrals from my friends joining. I know they'd enjoy it on here because of how much like me they are. And it'd be fun to have RL friends to mess around with on here.

i'm just sorry that i've missed out on so many previous years events and stuff and i'm sad i can't go back and take part.

i've been really lazy too, but with the boost in sp recently, though i always make sure to do item hunt, shinwa, saggi and wizard every day. i like to vend so i save my tokens for that mostly
