Thank you for the ten day celebration! :3 I loved checking in to see what the theme each day was and I enjoyed many of the activities (like that beer competition, thank you for giving me a reason to get rid of my horde lol xD).
I have to agree with the people saying the last day was lackluster / anticlimactic. Subetapedia update was great. I know a lot of people posted about lore and it was very pleasantly surprising to see such care go into a previously not updated feature. So that was great. But otherwise, there was hardly any incentive to stay online more let alone the entire day. I don't count the idea of increased tempest events or one new storm coloration a reason to stay online given the event is so rare enough for me to begin with that I have no incentive to try and see it (unlike crypts which was reaaaally evident it was made easier 8D I kept checking back to make it through the crypts on an hourly basis - now that's a celebration). I don't know what should have been done the last day, but seeing as we've been bombarded by achievements these nine days, the idea of more isn't exactly special 10th anniversary material.
I also agree with about wearable day. I get cash shop stuff, but two separate news posts with cash shop? And a price hike for vanity.. I mean vanity-LIKE lines? That's not a way to include everyone, you know? :c On top of that, there was no token shop restock with wearables. Sure, we get those the rest of the year, but I feel like if other collections got that, wearables should have gotten one as well. edit: To clarify, I mean token shop restock with only wearables. Would have been neat to bring back the super old birthday stuff or something like that idk.
I don't want you guys to think I hated the event in general. On the contrary, overall, I really enjoyed the ten days. Quest and battle days in particular. Those were a blast! :3 Thank you!
I'd say Quest Day was my most favorite of the days. The quests were the main thing that drew me to the site and so far keeps me here. The rest of the stuff, collections mainly, I don't care about.
Now while the final day was a bit lackluster compared to the other days, I guess I wasn't that surprised or disappointed over it because I knew there had to be a Wearable Day from day one. I also figured what would be released would be SBQ and cash shop but I was iffy on any restockable wears.
I'd say I kind of liked Game Day but only because I got through the Crypts three times. lol Most of the games on here, I'd rather get a root canal than play them.

I really enjoyed the celebration!
Some of my special favorites: new achievements (especially for collecting and Subeautique), pagination and alphabetizing collection/food pages, and the Major Drills fix.
I was super excited to check in every day and see what the theme was and what new items there were.
I think you did a superb job of just spiffing everything up :D
I just wish some of the holiday clothing was for guys it all seems to be intended for ladies leaving the guys out.

I've enjoyed the celebration. I'm in the UK and I had no trouble catching token shop restocks - sometimes you're online, sometimes you're not. I enjoyed all of it and thought you did a great job.
The only thing that I thought was a little disappointing was that there was no participation item for those who entered the cake making contest and weren't in the top three. Just some sort of acknowledgement would have been nice, because it took ages to decorate that cake. Okay, I got to eat it and it was yummy, but there were participation prizes on the festival event and it would just have been nice to get something. I'm assuming it was because only about 50 of us entered and there would be complaints that items were too rare?
What about having a couple of items that are 'contest participation' prizes? Standard ones that get given out only to those who take part in something like that - so it eventually could be items that everyone gets as the contests would be different each time? (Wearables last time, cakes this time, carved subeta pumpkins or something for Morostide - but the prizes are the same and stay for the whole year but get changed the following year so that they don't get too common?)
But yep, that little thing aside, I enjoyed it all, thank you :)
I would certainly support this! If participation is the way forward, maybe a title or trophy would work, if items would not? I could go with 'Half-baked' or something! :)
The extra invites, tempest and raffle tickets didn't really come through for me, but other than that, this was a lot of fun.
Fresh Subetapedia stuff, fun wearables, achievements, the scratchcards look really nice, more incentive to use the gardens (still hoping for Oatmeal there though!), more pet slots and CAKE!
Thanks y'all! :)
I was super overwhelmed during this with like 3-5 announcements a day it was just waaay too much. I feel like I missed out on more than half of it.. I also didn't get any bonus things like random events. Oh well still very active so that's good...
We will keep that mind for the future contests we do. :)
Now that the event is over, I have to say that I actually enjoyed this for the most part.
I'm actually really kinda glad for the lack of "10 year"/"anniversary"/etc items this year. Usually the wearables are silly and stuff that no one ever uses unless they're trying to be silly, the collectibles are only wanted for collections and otherwise aren't things people have much use for (like a pink cake vs. a pink cake with 1 and 0 candles are two different levels of use in terms of TCs, for example), the minions are usually more silly than usable, etc. So I'm glad that other than a small handful of themed wearables and a few cakes, this lacked those.
I liked that each day had a theme and if you didn't care for that days theme you didn't feel forced to muddle through something in fear of punishment; this wasn't a plot and was mostly new features so there was no panic to rush, and if you skipped a day you wouldn't miss out on anything you cared about. It was very, chilled, yet had stuff to do which I really liked.
Pet slots ❤️. No really, I wasn't expecting that at all, and I assumed if we would get more it would probably be after black friday if anything. A very pleasant surprise there.
I do agree that the pet dolls and pet articles would have been better suited for pet day than the last day, and the last day it would have been cute to toss some stuff in the freeshop (elixirs, potions, wiz tokens, treasure map peices, other inflated achievement things.. raffle tickets?) and I dunno. Done more subeta things. Like all quests behaving as quest day for increased prizes, Hustler gone crazy and changed his stock a lot and maybe costed 125 instead of 250, the free shop, zap for free, extra vending, etc.
Not saying the last day was bad par say, but I honestly don't even remember anything about it so if nothing else it wasn't memoriable (at least vs. the rest of the days).
I to, also, expected a minion day... or at least a fat minion release on pet day.
I was disappointed with both battle day, and wearable day. I was hoping to see like, a higher tier challenger from the past return... or at least some new battle achievements :c Beat GE 20 times for another Smasher? Something more.
And I'm not a wearable person by any means, and even I was expecting ... something more. Like the expensive tique items being Hustled? Or Esmerelda finding boxes of "old out of date fashion" and in a disgusted state of panic sells them off to both get them into the system + sP sink (5m a pop?) Maybe a new over the top limited "Celebration" tique line? Eddie Bell vs. Pinkie Pie y'know?
I was upset to see that.. game.. back, though. It's far too soon to bring back a game that ruined an event for a great deal of people. I understand not wanting to waste the game since I know a great deal of art and programming went into it but I legit scowled at seeing that pop up in news. Way too soon for me to see something that caused so much unnecessary drama and grief.
Lastly I think the cost of the limited quest shop items is a bit high. I really doubt the average user is a point hoarder AND by making "have x points" achievements that's not really encouraging people to spend points. I'd really like those cupcakes x2 (to feed, and a TC) but that's 60 points and thanks to a job and responsibilities I just don't really have the time to quest every single day for them.
I feel punished for that, tbh, which will end up with me probably not getting them considering Keel starts soon which is more important to me thank cupcakes and they're only here for a short time.
Anyways, overall I really liked this event though! Even the things I was disappointed with weren't bad or torture (outside of that game, which I have nothing nice to say about and I hated seeing it back so soon after causing so much ugh), I just think a few of the days could have been a bit better.
Overall good job though, far far far better than BotB hahaha
We had some battle achievements planned but weren't able to do them at the time, but they (along with a lot of other new achievements) will come soon. <3 Ariel and I have a spreadsheet and document full of ideas for future achievements (beanbags, clothing, games, etc) that we are going to push out over time so it isn't all INYOFACE.
Again -- thank you guys for the feedback though on the anniversary. :) and I will look over this board together and figure out things to do in the future based off it and what not.
