Because otherwise, you're actually putting your cat in a lot of danger by giving them a collar with a buckle (like on a belt) or not closure at all. It could easily get caught on something and trap the cat, or even choke it to death.

Both are very nice, I like them both! Personal preference would be the green one, because Emerald is my birthstone and I love anything to do with hearts :P But the silver one is also pretty, and would look nice against your cats fur. I was also thinking that the snowflake one might not be good for year-round, but I read that you said it's removeable. It would be fun if you could get different charms for different holidays/seasons! :D

they are both gorgeous. That being said my personal preferance is the snowflake collar. I'm not a fan of gold, AND I love snowflakes/ice so so so so much.

Now however, he is simply stunning and I think he would look dashing and gorgeous in BOTH collars.

I really love the green one, as I think it would look good with his fur color. :)

I'd go for the green one, but my cats (indoor) don't wear collars, as there is no need for them to.

I think the white snowflake one would look better because of the strong contrast between color of the collar and your cat's fur.

I really like the second one, but both are very stunning.

I used to have a kitty that looked like him...two actually. Smokey was a mama feral cat who had two kittens under our garden shed. One was black (Blackie) and the other looked just like her mama (and your Ash), we called her Gracie (gray-cie, lol). They were born the year after we moved to our current house and they started...disappearing just three years ago. We don't have any of them anymore. We think coyotes got them. I wanted so bad to take them inside, but when we tried to, they went absolutely batshit at being closed in, so we had to let them back out after a day of them freaking out inside.

Anyways, lol. As for the collar, I really like the diamond/snowflake one. I think his grey fur would set it off perfectly. Although, do they have a light blue one? Grey and blue look so pretty together. Or, do you know his birthstone? You could get him one of his birthstone or maybe one to match his favorite blanket or toy or an outfit/piece of jewelry of yours.

I personally like the green one, but considering your cat's color I agree the white would probably be much more striking.

The snowflake one is my favorite, he's a dark kitty and it will stand out a lot more. and if the snowflake comes off that's even better!

Emerald one, hands down. But then again, it's my birthstone. However, it does look particularly sharp, because the gems stand out more than white on white. The green looks so regal
