So since I got the SB started on the topic of Morostide and hoping for a plot this year we have some ideas.
Some new battle opponents for it is one of them as well as a new experiment pet sort of combining a spider with a clown. Also mentioned was hexes as some of us really like some of the hexes we get and wish we could wear them at other times.
your suggestions would be greatly appreciated since I think I have the basics here.

- Someone had mentioned Jaxon getting lost or going missing in the patch, maybe after going off to find Snowflaik his damn self.
I'm still all for the idea of Snowflaik being the one to be like "Can you help me find Jaxon? Oh, btw, I can talk. Lol."

Any kind of plot for Morostide would be cool, I don't believe this holiday ever had a plot before unlike the others. (I may be wrong though) Anything to do with Jaxon and his pumpkin patch would be neat or maybe someone stole all the candy/goodies that normally are given out cause they want to put an end to Morostide? Or maybe the zapper malfunctions and starts randomly zapping people into weird things they can't control?
I have a good idea. Step 1: Everyone turns into monsters (sans zombies). Step 2: No cure. Step 3: ??? Step 4: Laugh at all of the people freaking out because their pretty HA's are ruined.
Then come out with an insane number of prizes and award them to a small group if people.
I know we never have had a Morostide plot, but I think that is due to how many events are already shoved in that small bracket of time.
Alegarten before and Fireside, Luminaire right after.
Time management is definitely not Subeta's strong suit and having holidays like Fireside and Luminare get pushed back or a plot ran through at the last minute would be a bummer.
I hope new Morostide challengers come out though. Along with ToTing and Pumpkin Patch stuff, Hexes , and Zapper skins, Morostide seems to be quite a busy time.
I think Morostide has a lot of potential for plot, and it would be fun to explore some of the graveyard themes (aside from the zombies living under it). Unfortunately, Morostide is already a lot of work, with all the ToT items, PP items, caved pumpkins, hexes, and zapper skins, so I'm not sure how feasible it would be. Maybe some year, if we start well ahead!
I think the carnival should be involved in some way just so it can finally get a map layout like the rest of subeta sai doesn't count okay.
perhaps for the 2015 year instead then?

Creepy carnival like in silent hill for the win....yes please xD
lmao I vote for Jaxon getting lost in the pumpkin patch. Have Quentin be the one to notice. They're friends aren't they? Doesn't even have to be a plot. Just find Jaxon ala finding Snowflake.
Could have some of the pumpkins come alive and we have to battle them.

What about some kind of darkness being unleashed and slowly consuming Subeta. Maps could use a dark overlay (like the rainy one) and become darker and darker until it's solved. Maybe some kind of evil wizard, Maleria or the return of a dark god entity.

If you could just go ahead and not do any plots during midterm and finals, that would be great.
I'd rather see holidays run smoothly in that season instead of shoving a plot in there and hoping for the best. I also think that Morostide is way too soon to plan and have a plot right after this Peka-Boo debacle.

^I like this. I'm so damn tired of seeking minions for Jaxon that i would laugh so hard if he would get lost trying it himself.
That said, subeta + plots= subeta can write a book about "time management gone really fucking wrong". if there is a moment where I do not want subeta to show off their time management problems it is during morostide with Fireside and luminieve coming almost directly after it. It's my favourite time of the year on subeta and I don't want anything special to happen unless it's an extremely good planned plot. It's end augustus, an extremely well planned plot can't happen anymore unless it was already in the works (and then we are too late with our suggestions).
But I would love something for 2015 :D Maybe something with jellies involved? Don't those usually surface again around morostide?
[edit] I would love something small new for morostide though, something that we haven't been doing the past 5 years every single time with morostide. But nothing big like an actual plot.

If Subeta didn't do anything when any single person was busy at any time, they wouldn't do literally anything at all, ever.
When there are plots here, the steps usually take less than 5 minutes at times. Receive event, read the dialogue, click buttons, NOPE WAIT UNTIL TOMORROW FOR THE NEXT PART. The only time I can think of when Subeta consumed hours of my time at once is whenever we had to figure out that dumb sewer maze. And I shudder at the thought of it and hope we never have to do that again.
The only reason I would object to a morostide plot is for the reasons others have already said. It's wedged between other holidays and there's no time, especially at this point in time. We don't need another poorly planned plot already.
Also Masquerade is wedged between survival and vesnali but we've had plots for that?
The "mini-plots" have only driven up prices on restockables the last times we've seen them, but more power to staff if they can manage something small and fun in such an already busy time period.

I'm glad everyone likes my suggested of Jaxon getting lost in his patch. I thought it was good, too; but as much as I would love a plot or something a little more than normal for the upcoming Morostide, I agree that it's not really a feasible idea for so soon.
With all of the work that goes into Morostide already, I'm definitely not seeing it being a possibility for this year; but as others have said and in the discussion we had in the SB, I think there is a TON of potential for a nice, quaint little plot for next year ( if staff finds the time/ability to think of a more in depth plot, or something ).
Since Morostide is less than two months away I really doubt we`ll see anything beyond what we've been given in the years before, but it's a nice idea for future years.. hopefully a plot where you do not have to be online every single day, but something relatively casual that feels plottish without being something as intense as the event leading up to the Storm pets, or the Pandemic events.
I'm pretty biased though, as Morostide is my favorite holiday.
That's a good thing to keep in mind, plus how busy that time of year is (as others have pointed out). I love the idea of Jaxon getting lost looking for his own minions for once - it could essentially function the same (if you don't find him you find an item or minion in the patch, if you do find him you get a reward like a title and a special item). I think it's a fun idea that could be done despite all the formentioned things, and could be built upon in the future to involve the carnival (I love that idea too!) I'm glad someone brought this up, now I'm super excited for the season to begin!

Just, all of this. Love the carnival. Love the Jaxon getting lost. Love to see it get implemented next year or in the future when the staff has been given ample time to develop it.
