Yeah, I considered doing something like that, but I don't really have the patience for it. I just kind of let it be messy. Do you ever work with colored pencil? They're a little difficult to make cooperate, but I really like the gradation of color that you can get with them. The trick is to color in little circles as opposed to scribbling back and forth.

I've never tried coloured pencils, but that sounds like a useful trick, thanks :D i have a nice set of arty coloured pencils which i've barely used, i'll drag them out sometime haha :) did you have a good weekend?

Well, it's been pretty crazy. We've been running all over the place trying to get paperwork signed and in between all that I had a flat tire (and my other 3 are about to go too), my grandfather's in the hospital, and last night we had a storm so bad that I'm pretty sure a funnel cloud passed over the house. It's been hectic to say the least.

I end up just using clear polish still chip it after sketching.

Yeah, I've tried that, but instead of chipping off the whole thing came off (the polish, not the nail)

Haha! I know, right? I can still do my toenails, though. But I have to get up the energy for it first. Plus I think I threw away all of my nail polish because I was sick of moving it around every time I moved.

I can relate to that! Things are a bit better now, yeah. Still running around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to move in, though. Today we got this huge bookshelf for free from one of our friends who owns a book store, but it was super heavy, so we almost died trying to move it up the stairs to our new place XD but at least we have another shelf now. It was much needed.

Good luck with uni hunting, though. I hope you can find somewhere you really like. I pretty much just settled on my school. I really wasn't sure what I wanted to do when I started, and I didn't feel like paying a lot, so I just decided on a cheap state school. But hey, I met my girlfriend here, so that's something, right?
