I chopped all my hair off towards the end of spring/early summer. I had grown it out to my mid-back. I had it cut to slightly shorter than shoulder length. Not sure how many inches it was. But it was such a huge difference, the stylist wasn't even sure she wanted to do it. I told her, "It's hot and I'm pregnant, I want it GONE!" LOL. Now I'm growing it out again. :)

Bangs really suit you! That was a good choice :)

It's not mean at all, it makes perfect sense -- and i wish i had thought o that myself. Had i thought of something like that i would have looked for a hairdresser that was similar to my shape and probably been much happier with my haircut. (I've only gotten it cut once from a professional, all other time it has been from my sister or mom, and they just trim it).

Yeah it really does feel good not to have all that extra thick hair blanketing my neck. Especially since it's so humid this year.

I guess if you're preggers you really just don't want that extra thing to deal with and long hair can be such a chore, eh?

My mom always said she was scared of ruining my pretty hair, but I have an aunt who was a hairdresser. Mom used to get her to trim my hair. One time I when I was little though we were visiting said aunt and I was looking around her studio (she ran it out of her home) and I got it in my head that I didn't want bangs anymore, so I took a pair of her scissors and lopped them off. Haha, my poor mom almost had an aneurysm when she saw what I did to myself.

I love it! I recently did about the same, chopped off a ton of hair got major layering and dyed it from brown to red! Do you miss it at all, imiss my hair being in the middle of my back!

I'm enjoying my not sweaty neck too much to miss it, lol. Although the humidity today made my hair really poof up and it looks even shorter!

Goodness ive never been so happy to live in a place with very little humidty! I already have a poofball, i dont need help from the weather :P

Its been stupid rainy, to the point of floods. We usually have a very dry heat here.

Haha, well my cousin didn't have bangs and I didn't know that you had to grow bangs out to 'not have bangs'. I just figured you cut 'em off. (At least I didn't get into the electric clipper XD)

yea, it makes logical sense (to a kid) that in order tog et rid of bangs you cut them off. I can totally see that logic -- it is so cute/funny! :D LOL the eclectic one would have been amazingly funny.

It looks sooo beautiful on you! I like how it frames your face. I used to have a pixie hair cut but I decided to grow it out again. Damn I wish my hair would grow faster. >.<

I almost cried when I took that much hair off a few years ago and I vowed to never do it again! Way to be brave! :P

It grows back so fast I rarely really think twice about it, lol. The bangs gave me a pause though because they'll go through that annoying awkward length if I decide I don't like them, but so far so good!
