The friends I have on Subeta consists of one real-life friend and my brother and sister. It's hard to make close friends, nowadays, because we tend to stick to people we already know. Most strangers are not ready to give the handshake of friendship, but talking to people might open up opportunities for us to connect and exchange ideas. If we try enough, we may find someone new who we can get along with well. Personally, I do not have many close real-life friends, but I find that if I have pleasant exchanges with people, even if they aren't friends, I can usually leave with a good feeling of having been in a conversation (because I lack social interaction most of the time). I haven't tried typing in the shout box because conversations are hard to follow at glance, but it's nice that you can find people who are nice or willing to give items on there, even if asking for free items feels awkward.

Oh, hi, I didn't even notice this was your thread XD But although I 'know' a lot of people here, I don't feel like i'm super friendly with a lot of people. I kinda feel socially awkward, actually 0.o; I don't know what to do. Maybe it's just me but I feel when I use the shout box everyone knows each other so well I'm just kinda side glanced 0.o;;;;;

The vast majority of friends on my list are friends that came from elsewhere and invited me over. Sadly I tend to be the only one who comes on. :S I want to come on the forums and talk to people but it feels like i'd be invading their social bubble, even if it's a thread like "all is welcome" and such.
