Hey guys, just some quick news. Bonni and I are currently in the middle of moving and we don't have Internet at the new place yet, so things might move a tad slower over the next few days, but we'll try our best to keep things rolling. A little revision in regards to the 2 days RL = 1 day RP rule. We're basically still in beta here, so we're going to change that rule a bit. Since the RP is moving slower than anticipated, we've decided that instead of having one week to lead up to the construction, the construction is starting today. Bonni and I will of course be guiding you through all of that in regards to how exactly the fence is going to come down, but we just wanted to let you all know that you don't have to worry about coming up with a weeks worth of filler. Bonni will probably post a little later and explain this all more clearly.

As you're both MIA, I thought I'd ask: would you prefer we waited for you to be back on track before we post (or post lots, anyway)? That way, you can guide us in the right direction etc. Also: I interacted with Rowan, but if you're unable to post before the two days are up, should I move on or wait? This question is the same for if we're waiting on another user.

Great question! I'm sorry I haven't been able to uphold my own rule, first of all. We didn't realize moving was going to be so complicated! For the moment, since the RP is just starting out, I think it would be safe to move on if you wish. We don't want to hold up anything, especially character interaction. We should have Internet by tomorrow evening, so feel free to post away until then. Our plot will be based upon what develops as a result from your/our posts.

As far as waiting/moving on for other people: if a member is going to be absent, it would be a good idea to post here (or snail me and ask me to post in your stead) so that way if your character is interacting with someone, your partner will know that you didn't just up an leave the roleplay. If it's for more than a day or so, I would say that we would have to move on without them.

Hey guys! I just posted so hopefully you'll have some more ideas for how to progress now. To add a little clarity to what Bonni was trying to say earlier, I know we haven't been super active (we were trying to give everyone a chance to make their intro first) but we will guide you as far as major plot points are concerned. I think the first major plot point is going to be the fence coming down, so anything you want to do in preparation for/leading up to that is fine. Now that intro posts are through (and since we should have Internet tomorrow!) I think things might move a little quicker (though a lot of that is up to you guys).

[edit] Ok! Little update on things! It seems that Bonni has lost interest in the RP to the point that we thought it would be better if I took over. I'll get her to transfer ownership of the group over to me sometime today. As far as the plot is concerned, don't worry, this won't change things that much, although I do tend to have a more aggressive style than Bonni, so it's likely I'll be more directly influencing things. Also, I don't think we're going to be moving at quite the same rate anymore, by which I mean the day the wall was supposed to come down may change (but that'll really get handled in RP), and the reply period has been extended. Please try and reply in between three and four days (by which I mean from one of your own posts to the next one of your own posts). I think this pace might be better suited for a lot of people, including myself. If you are applying for the second stage of the RP, please get your applications ready as I will be reopening the floor for those soon. Be warned, I'm a little harder to please than Bonni, so make sure they're extra polished. ;) I think that's about it for now. I should be posting later today after I finish with class, so that will help guide you some (don't worry, I'm going to bring the plot). Again, sorry about the delay, I think masquerade also threw us off. But hopefully we can get the ball rolling again!
