Yeah I would have to research more about them before getting one, I've seen some up for adoption :]

I have a Australian Shepard/Heeler Mix at my parents house. She can't live with me at my apartment ):

I have a Green Finch, but she's not really a pet, I found her, raised her and now she's a member of the family and demands we run the tap for her so she can paddle in the sink. I'd love a snake of some type, or a Savannah cat... and I'm determined to have Zebra Finches some day, but I don't have the time/money or room for anything at the moment =<
