'Wow. What beautiful humming coming from this windowsill.' Ryan sat beneathe it and listened. Not long after, he heard the window being lifted and curtains being pulled back. He rose and found that a lady, still in her nightgown, had been the one to hum.

Snifing the air, he started to become confused. Ryan smelled no blood at all in this fair creature. Not even a heartbeat could be heard. Nothing except the wondrous tune. He began to wonder if she was anything like himself, a vampire, immortal.

Then, she sat on the windowsill with a book in her hands, and still she did not notice him. 'So much for trying to meet others,' he thought, a bit of dissapointment rising in him.

ooc: oops, sorry. I was thinking the same thing last night when I had a page and a half of posts to read. :)

bic: Tarrin sat down and placed his head between his knees. He needed to feed soon, his hunger was beginning to become unbearable. If he did not find something quickly, he would lose control and would probably end up killing. A rat rushed by and he grabbed it, biting it so quickly it didn't even have time to squeak. The blood tasted foul, but at least he had something in his belly. But he would need more very soon.

The scent of humans was everywhere as more began to come out into the streets. How easy it would be to reach out and snatch a passing child away from it's parents. But he hated the fact that the child would writhe in pain and fear as he bit into it. The blood would be sweet and delicious, but he could not stand the screams. Not to mention the fact that he would have to take his victim away from the streets so their dying screams would not be heard.

His stomach seemed to gurgle loudly and he knew he could not wait any longer. He could see a small toddler waddling down the street beside his mother. Tarrin closed his eyes, trying to overcome the hunger that was overwhelming him. Finally, unable to take it any longer, he opened his eyes and reached out toward the passing child.

Alexandra walked down the street, her bag on her back. She noticed children running around and playing, some were with their mothers and fathers other were alone. She walked towards an alley way, and noticed something. A hand reaching out to the child in front of her, she grabbed the child from its reach. "Go..." Alexandra said simply, "I thought you creatures only came at night..." She whispered to the owner of the hand in the alleyway it came out in a more of a growl then a whisper, she hated seeing them prowl and feed.

Tarrin recoiled, "Who are you to take away my meal?" He hissed, getting to his feet. "And no, we don't only come out at night. At least I don't." He looked the woman over, after a moment he relaxed and actually smiled, "Um, thanks for stopping me from killing that child. I have not eaten and my hunger was beginning to overwhelm me." He glanced down at the dead rat, "They just don't fill me enough to stop my deadly hunger."

He backed up slightly, his arm still burning from the rays of sunlight that had hit it when he had reached for the child. "I don't like being a killer you know." He muttered before starting to turn away, "But it's the only way I can survive." He could sense that this was not a human before him. In fact, this was a completely different species. A werewolf to be exact. He didn't know much about them, but he was sure he probably didn't want to.

Viviane read her book, humming still, as she sat on her windowsill. The slight breeze ruffled her hair and nightgown as she sat there and she smiled. Her smile was soft, but it showed a very small hint of her fangs. She let the book in her hands tilt down some as she enjoyed the feeling of the wind. As another gust of wind came, her bookmark came out. It fluttered around and almost went out the window, but one of her snow white hands flashed out and caught the bookmark.

When her hand was out in the air, outside of the window, her senses opened up again. "Who are you?'' she asked Ryan, stopping her humming. Her hand was still outside of the window for a moment before she brought it back in to put her bookmark in her book. She gently set the book down on the floor then peered out of her window.

Her hair fell down around her, brushing against Ryan gently. She started to hum again, but then stopped shortly after she began. "Sorry, I have a tune stuck in my head,'' she said softly. Her voice was soft and meager. It made her seem all the more fragile. To anyone that didn't know her true nature, she seemed like a fragile woman who couldn't take care of herself. How far from the truth that really was. She looked down at him, her blood red eyes looked at him, roaming his length to go back up to his face. She knew what he was instantly.

A smile appeared across his lips where, usually, there sat a frown. He had startled the vampire before him. He didn't mean to, but it did make him feel more alive inside to know he could live as an immortal. "I am sorry I startled you. I'm Ryan. I awoke in this alley this morning."

Ryan watched the bookmark flutter out of the window and was about to help catch it when Viviane's snow white fingers snatched it from the air. She had been lucky there was no sunlight escaping the clouds above, for her hand would have burned to a crisp right before Ryan's blood-red eyes.

"I don't mind the humming. That's how I found you, in the first place. I love music and melodies. Yours was refreshing." His smile widened into a grin, showing his off-white teeth and fangs. Two dimples appeared on his cheeks making the young man look even more childish. "Please continue with your humming."

'That smell...' Liam immediately shut the book before him and sprang to his feet - careful not to let any part of him touch the sun. The smell was strong; the wind carried it so easily that it was most-likely coming from the north of his position. In a matter of a few seconds he had his books packed up in his knapsack. He threw it over his shoulder and tore down the sun-less alleyways, his pace rivaling the soft noises his feet made when hitting the pavement.

Sanguine scent was very distinguishable.

Eyes Flickered Open Slightly. Waking Up Peacefully. But as soon as reality hit, he sat up quickly, throwing the rag that covered him away. No Longer did the children play upstairs, no. They were probably all Listening to "mother" Read stories. Above him stood his Foster "Father" With a List in his Hand and a large club like thing. Nellow instantly shied away from this man, covering his already bruised and muddied face with his arms. "Smells Like Shit in Here" His Voice was kind, but lined with disgust. "Put these on and go to the store" A Pair of nicer clothes were thrown in his face before he lept up and began to fit them on over his other clothes. They bulged a little bit, but for the most part looked natural.

The Man took a step forward, pulling out a damp rag to wipe the grime away from Nellow's Pale Sickly Face. It took all he had not to cough on this man, but he held the need in. Choking on the Cough rather than alerting the man that he was dying. After a few frustrated seconds of trying to wipe away spots that werent dirt at all the man hit him on the head and shoved his shoulder forwards. "Go Already" The man's voice Startled Him into running up the stairs, his small body looked weak. As it was.

Looks and Laughs from the children dampened his spirits as he walked from the house. He was ridiculed. He was Unworthy to be a normal child. He was an orphan. Two Deep Coughs Echoed into the evening air as soon as he was far enough away from the house. In his had he carried a potato sack and a small parchment with a few things written on it. Of course he didnt have the money to pay for it. But the store owner knew that his 'family' was good for it. They always payed him back. One way or another. He stepped quietly, enjoying the last few seconds of sunlight.

The stone Streets were fairly empty. All the people already gone home to their family. Even if the sun was still out for awhile. He walked fairly "out of it" that is until he pered into the alley ways beside the house he lived. His Eyes Caught that of anothers. Something, Hungry. But Kind. It was Confusing. Due to lack of attention he fell flat on his face, spitting up a little bit of blood as he did so. Rolling over in pain, hands grasping at his stomach, he struggled to get back onto his feet. It wasnt long until he gave up, knowing this would be his final resting spot. But even now he smiled. Knowing that He was destined to be Great still. And That Maybe there really was a place with "God" Meant for him.

((I edited my last post... and thanks for the notice about slowing down...))

He cringed as soon as the smell of blood reached his nose. God, he was hungry... that much was worth admitting, but years taught him how to cope with going without supper for days at a time. It was an unspoken law that he only feasted on the dying, but there was something about this boy that kept his stomach churning in anxiety.

Upon reaching the site, his stomach did another somersault. His eyes locked on Archer. It had been weeks since his eyes set upon another one of his kind.

Everything was out of focus now. The Pupils in his eyes dilated slightly. Blood Ran down the sides of his mouth, making him look even more ragged that he usually did. His Face was sheepish though, still showing the lively boy who continued to hold on to his life. Even if it wasnt much of one. Tears tingled his eyes slightly. The shaky pale hand lifted to touch the others, but instantly pulled back upon feeling the cold skin. It was unhuman. He didnt try to make sensce of it though. No, For Once, he wasnt curious. His hand grasped the others and he lifted himself up.

Just as he and the other predicted, his body fell forward, hunching over to protect his stomach. Everything hurt. His own eyes looked up slightly, searching the others. There was something about him that made Nellow's very soul scream. But He said nothing except a soft "Thank You" His legs shook as he tried to walk, only to stumble and fall forward again. Even though he was hurting, he blushed slightly. Embarrassed by his own stupidity. He rolled over smiling slightly, before closing his eyes, internally excepting his fate. He didn't even notice that there were now two people standing near him.

Viviane could feel the night drawing closer. She listened to what Ryan said. "It's fine. I should have not shut off my senses like I tend to do. Oh, and my name is Viviane. Nice to meet you Ryan,'' she said softly. She brushed a few strands of hair out of her face, still peering out of the window to see him.

Her eyes widened slightly when he said that he had found her by her humming. "You heard me humming?'' she asked softly, almost impishly. Then she shook her head a bit. "Never mind, that was not smart of me. I know what you are. Of course you could hear me,'' she said with a slight dismissive wave. When he asked her to continue humming she gave him a disbelieving look. "Why don't you come in? I think that would be easier for the both of us. You can either use the front door, back door, or this window,'' she suggested.

"Nice to meet you, Viviane." Ryan looked around him, feeling that dusk was nearing. By then, he'd be able to walk out into the streets, even though he just wanted to listen to Viviane hum. 'Something about that name reminds me of someone... but I can't remember who.' Flashbacks started to fill his mind, how could he remember that name?

"Yeah. We have excelent hearing, don't we?" A slight chuckle escaped him. Of course vampires had extreme hearing - everyone knew that. That's one reason why most humans fear for there short lives when they hear the word 'vampire'. They all know that those blood-suckers could here a heartbeat from a long ways away. They also knew the leeches thirsted for their blood.

"Sure. I'll come in. But, I think I should use this window instead of a door. You don't know where sunlight could be hiding just waiting to shine on you and burn you to a crisp." Ryan moved a step back from the window and waited for his new friend to move out of the way.

"He's dying," Liam spoke softly to himself. With utmost carefulness, he knelt beside the boy and looked over him (mentally making a note to avoid looking at his neck). As soon as the blood split down the side of Nellow's mouth, in inwardly cringed and fell off balance to get away as quickly as possible.

And so begins the inwardly battle between the ravenous beast, hunger, and the last human part of his body, his mind. He bore his fangs, quickly covering them with his hand and coughing awkwardly into his fingers to excuse the gesture.

Then Nellow fell again. This creature was truly pitiful. It would almost be a blow to his ego if Liam were to feast on him.

Ooc: Of Course You Can

Bic:

The cold Street pressed against Nellow's face as he rolled onto his side. There was hardly any fight left in him. Definitely Not enough for him to want to get back up. He began to wonder what death was like. Was it really peaceful? Or Maybe it was just as hard as life Was. Maybe it was Full of Turmoil and Revenge. Then his thoughts traveled else where. Would they Care? Would the ones he lived with care? Would the have a Funeral? Or would they merely act as they always had? Nellow was fading, Fast. His groans were dying down. As was his soul.

But Suddenly, Nellow didnt want to die. He wanted to fight for his life. Even if there was nothing for him, he wanted so dearly to fight. His eyes fluttered open and his hand reached towards the vampire who stood over him. "Help......M....." He coughed again and groaned in pain. He thought that he was only in the first stages of sickness, because his fingers and limps hadnt begun to fall off yet. Most of the damage must have been internal. It hurt so bad to die. All emotions that he felt were flooding out of him now. Sadness, Terror, Peacefulness, and above all else, Hate. He hated those people who hadnt taken care of him. He hated his parents for dying on him. And he even hated the Strangers who hadnt helped him escape this Family.

Viviane smiled softly at Ryan. "Nice to meet you too, Ryan,'' she said softly. She peered out the window still at him. Occasionally she brushed her hair away from her face as the window teased her hair and blew it so it was in her way. I think I've seen him around before. Not sure though. I've seen far too many vampires to recall them all. Plus, it could have been a mortal that I saw, she thought.

She giggled at what he said about their hearing. "Yes, I do believe we have good hearing. I've never met someone, mortal or otherwise, who didn't know that vampires have good hearing,'' she said with a fanged smile. Even as a mortal she knew that vampires had acute hearing. Now, the strength of the hearing was the part that got iffy in the countless tales told of them.

"Yes, you have a point there. I took a chance when I opened the curtains, and sort of when I caught my bookmark,'' she agreed with a slight nod. She watched as he took a step back, and she stood up and moved to the side of the window. Gently, she picked up the book and held it to her. "Okay, go ahead,'' she said, indicating that it was safe to jump in.

"Regular school my butt!", Rose said. Rose walked up the stairs of her middle school. She's been there for a...while. "Hey, Rose!", her friend called. "Amature!"Rose said under her breathe. Her friend, Edward, sometimes(all the time) Copy what she wears. First class, science.

"Hey, Rose!", another boy said. "Sup, Rose", another boy said behind me. "Will you guys SHUT UP!", Rose said with her eyes red. They backed away. "That's what I thought!", She muttered.

Lunch- "Can I set with you?","Want me to hold your tray?","Get away from her, I was here first!", Rose kept on hearing that every day and it was a pain in the butt!

after school- They also followed her home. "Like i said. A pain in the butt.", Rose muttered to herself. She took a turn to a dark alley. "Help....Me!!!!", a boy said. He lay there in the corner of the alley. He had the plague!

Liam shuddered. What kind of predicament has he gotten himself in to? He reached down and grasped the hand of the plague victim. He swallowed hard as if debating with himself on whether to help or just release his grip and take off down the alleyway, pretending as if nothing had happened. With a fang piercing his own lip, he pulled Nellow to his feet, making sure his grip was enough so he would not stumble again. Should he talk? If so, what would he say?
