i think Mona killed her

I'm so done with this show, its been what like 3-4 seasons and they just now managed to get back to anything close to what the books are.

After all the shit they changed I was honestly shocked that A was the same as in the book

Considering in the books, the confrontation with Mona occurred when the confrontation with Ian did in the series, and she was the one who was supposed to die, yea, it's like they decided they didn't want to make a new storyline of who A is, so they defaulted even after making a big deal about not having the same character be A.

I love pretty little liars! I did read the books and follow the show. I almost wished that the show followed the books more streamlined, that way I could know what was going to happen :P But that is also the great part of the show, that I never know what is going to happen. It is such a creepy show, I can never watch it alone. Also Melissa is scary, and Mona is too.

This was actually only the 2nd season finale.

ABC Family ALWAYS cuts a show in half. Winter Finales and Season/Series finales. The Winter Finales are actually just the finale of the first half of the season, which is why something massive is never revealed in them in PLL.

The only exception to this they've had is Switched at Birth...

We just had a Spring Finale for them, after they had a Winter Finale.

Instead of the usual 20ish episodes ABCFamily usually orders for a show, for some reason, they ordered 32 episodes for the 1st season of SAB.

Well I won't be watching the next season. I honestly only watched it this long to see how after all their changes they would manage to circle it back. And after all the changes, they didn't even kill A off like in the book. IDK this show certainly seems like a waste

Well, it's ABCFamily. The only recent death on that show on their teen shows was in The Lying Game.

They're pretty "EVERYONE MUST LIVE" with their shows.

I haven't read the books yet, but I kind of know how the "A" thing ends up.

My initial thought, when they came back to following the book, after claiming that they weren't going to, was that they did it on purpose - lied about it, so that anyone who hadn't read the books wouldn't have the books spoiled (if they think that "A" in the show is different from in the book, then if and when they go to read the books, it will be a surprise, since they'll be expecting it to be someone else), and also altered the sequence of things, so that those who had read the books wouldn't know exactly how the show was going to play out, and the show would be somewhat of a surprise to them.

Of course, it's possible that they didn't do it on purpose, and just simply changed their minds.

I love PLL but the season finale was slightly disapointing, I had kinda thought that they were going with the same A as the A in the books for the last few episodes as they seemed to suddenly follow the books.

They seem really OTT about not killing people because so many more people have lived in the show VS the books, i do still love the show. And i like how they develop some characters in the show that died in the books :)

I love the show :D Been watching it since day one.

I am kinda disappointed though, that the whole time they've been saying they changed A and it turns out to be Mona....pissed me off...

yes but Mona is working with more than one A. that Mona even said

I know there's more than one. I was just annoyed by the fact they swore up and down they weren't following the books, and apparently the are.

yeah a lot of shows will swear up and down when spoilers come out that the spoilers are fake. and then when the episodes come almost all the spoilers are true lol

I love PLL. :) I've read all the books, and I'm hooked on the series. As for Ezra and Aria, I don't like their relationship. They are too much most of the time, like they can't make up their minds. I like Hanna and Caleb better. And I have a feeling that A is

I just started the first book :) But I don't think Aria is "A" simply because A put her relationship with Ezra on the line numerous times... I think it might be either Jenna or whoever Vivian a.k.a Ally was running from....

I really liked it actually. I like how Emily is all "depressed and mourning Mia's death", I feel like it adds more creepiness to the show :) Mona is also really creepy and Spencer and Tobby are too cute! So are Aria and Ezra (drools) What about you?

Mona is seriously freaking me out! also Wren was kinda creepy too in the hospital with Hanna... The grave thing was seriously weird!

I know, there's some real creepiness hanging around this season. I did see the previews but sadly I missed tonight's episode :( How was it? I hope the girls are able to uncover the new "A" in town :)
