One of the best ways to get achievements is to work on event-specific achieves. Since Masquerade is soon, you should be able to get a lot of them by dancing and buying items from the menagerie and lounge. c: If you purchase 10 items from each shop and get up to the 100 dance achieve, then that's at least 13 new achievements. 8D Events are always a good time to get them, especially for events like New Years where they release goodie bags around the site and you get achievements for opening lots of them.
