I like how someones pet won spotlight, when i know my pet has been nominated for well over a year now and nothing has been heard of. Probably only because i cant make amazing pages like others can. It just bugs me is all.

And its funny, because the pet nominated for me is also a fan pet for one of my dogs that passed. :/

I've seen other tribute pets win the spotlight too. The wins are at random.

Also, to elaborate on point, the pet spotlight is random, so a pet that was nominated last week could win, or a pet that was nominated a year ago, once a pet is in the win queue, it shows up whenever, you just have to be patient. It's not exactly polite to comment on someone elses brag board (especially when it's very clearly an emotional win for them!) and be a little negative :( not trying to scold or anything, just pointing it out. And for what it's worth, I took a peek at your pets and I think the profile you're talking about is lovely, and I bet it'll win eventually, you just have to be patient instead of bitter!

It took me over a year to get my first win so I understand being a bit frustrated but acting like a jerk on someone else's happy topic doesn't do anything except make you look bad.

you do realize this is a board celebrating her spotlight right and that she lost her cat and loved him immensely and that there are plenty of others that have had their pets nominated for a long while and haven't won the spotlight because A) it's random and B) not everyone who's nominated is going to win ?

i don't have a single pet that's won the spotlight but i don't go around complaining about those who do win and do deserve it.

I think it's really sad that people continue to rain on the parades of people who have won. It is not their fault that they randomly won before you did (perhaps that pet has been in the queue longer even, you never know), and I'm sure you wouldn't want to be having to deal with people giving you guff when you when, would you? Especially if a pet is this special to you! Wouldn't that just ruin a day that otherwise would be pretty special and exciting for you? Please be nice and stay on topic :( There are plenty of other places you can complain that won't ruin the mere 24 hours that each person gets to shine.
