I need to make 60mil sp very quickly and any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
I already do Saggi and Item Hunts every night and I do weekend quests every weekend (unless it's Drunk Carl). I do have a shop but I haven't been able to empty its til because I'll lose the achievement.
Any other ideas?? Please and thanks.
Maybe you could try buying Magical Keepsake Boxes from the MC every time you can, and then sell them at your shop (you can make a new shop if you don't want to take the sP on the shop you're going for the achievement). They tend to sell pretty fast. You don't gain a lot maybe, but it's an easy 50k per box.
If you have some sP and you don't mind taking a bit of risk, you could also try purchasing discounted CSC on the forums and sell it on your shop at the SS price. I've made millions doing that c:
Is that why people have multiple shops? I always wondered the point to that. I haven't used Auto-price in months because I save my creds to buy week-long GAs for when Saggi is the weekend quest. Unfortunately, he hasn't been the weekend quest in forever. But I guess I can manually price stuff if there's only a couple items at a time.
How does one buy discounted CSC?? And what is SS??
Alos, I'm totally jealous of your pokemon critters.
Well, I'm not sure if that's why people have multiple shops, but I know it helps if you're trying to get the shop till achievements. It can be pretty annoying to have to remove all the sP at once, but making another shop if you need sP ASAP is a lot of help :)
To get some discounted CSC, you should try buying it at the Advertising forum. You can make a thread on the wanted section, or see if someone is selling on the main section. People tend to sell it lower than the current shop prices on the forum, to sell it quicker. That way, for example if you get someone to sell you 500 CSC for 11m, then you sell it for 12.2m in your shop and you have an easy 1.2m profit. Although you have to risk a bit since the price may drop a bit, but you can wait until it's up again so you don't lose sP. Oh and SS is the abbreviation of Shop Search. I'm just a lazy writer x)
Hmm. So it's kind of like a stock market. I'm not very good with those. Would I have to make my own thread to sell them or would puttying them in the shop work too? I mean, if everyone is buying them off forums anyway why bother putting them in the shop??
You should put them at your shop at the lowest price on Shop Search, that way you wouldn't need to make a discount for it. And people buy them from shops anyway. Sometimes it takes some time to find someone selling on the forums, and most people want the CSC as quickly as possible, so they spend a bit more of sP to buy it from shops and get it at the moment. It's more or less the same as the Magical Keepsake Boxes from the Millionaire Centre. You need to wait 12 hours to purchase another, so people can't wait and buy them from shops.
hmm. Perhaps I should try it with the boxes first. I want to get my sp up a little before making any huge purchases.
Someone on the Shoutbox suggested I do commissions but I have no idea how to run an art shop board. And I certainly don't have enough creds to make even one CW.
Go ahead then! The boxes are awesome because they never drop below the price you get them at the MC and you always make some profit c:
Art Shops are easy to do. You just need to make a board with your examples, prices, slots, and what you can and can't do. You can always see the threads of other people to take as a reference if you don't know how to start too. And if you don't have enough CSC to submit a CW, you can do it as most people do. They post it on the CW forum before submitting and let people claim slots for the item. Then, when slots are full, people pay for the item so you don't have to put the 5k CSC yourself. If you sell them at 600 CSC per slot, and you want to keep a copy for yourself, you even make a profit of 400 CSC.
And btw, I just sold 500 CSC in about 30 minutes in my shop at the current Shop Search price, not sure if that helps :3
But if they pay for the item before it's approved what happens if it's rejected?
And as for artworks, I'm not sure i should do that just yet. I'm not very fast and can't ink well.
If the item is rejected they get their CSC back. You can later try to fix it and submit it again until it gets accepted c:
If you think you're slow and still aren't really good with art, you can always practice when you have free time so you can improve and make your drawings better and quicker. Maybe it takes time to see the difference, but at the end you realize that it was really worth it :)
But how does a person manage all the orders they get? A lot of art shops have tons of orders at a time.
Just going to quickly pop in here and give my two cents that making CWs has been by far the most profitable thing for me to do. So if you can do it, just give it a go. :) Though the submission process gets a bit tedious sometimes, but eh if you like making art anyway... Might as well do somethin you like AND make money while you're at it.
I literally went from having 2 mil sP to about 300 mil in a matter of weeks. ...and then I spent it all so I'm broke again now. BUT THAT'S NOT THE POINT. XD
It's not THAT hard if you have an organized list of the users who claimed each item and which of them already paid. You can also submit more than one item at time for approval. And is totally right. If you have enough time to draw a lot of items and people have interest, you'll be millionaire in less than a month xD
If I'm going to do CWs I'll have to learn to ink properly. My lines end up kind of squiggly and if I ink in PS they have a fuzzy edge to them. Coloring might be a bit problematic too considering the requirements for quality Subeta calls for.
I was actually asking about the art shop. I know nearly everyone on here is always looking for good art for overlays, profiles and signatures and it'll be hard for me to focus if I have 20 people begging for something at the same time.
How do I go about pricing art? How do I know I'm not asking for too little or too much??
Ok. The price of the keepsake boxes is going down and if it keeps up I won't get much of a profit.
Yeah they used to be around 200k. Now they're around 190k.
You think THIS would make a good companion wearable?
