I just called them and they said that they have hired 18-21 year olds in the past but "they left to go to school". So I'm guessing they don't want college students? (Either that or a bad experience thing.)
They also said I'd be welcome to come in and fill out an application anyways and the lady was very nice to me on the phone. :)

Oh sorry, I didn't see the post about locking! I hope you don't mind me replying here again.
Maybe it's worth it to apply regardless? When I was unemployed, I applied for everything and anything, even if I didn't fit all the points in the criteria. You could explain in your covering letter you have no desire to go to school / university (if that's true!) and that ultimately, this is what you want to do with your life. That's what I did with one of my jobs and they hired me, compared to the older and more qualified people that applied. (I say more qualified, but I actually mean more experienced... I have more qualifications than they did, less experience).
So just go ahead and apply! The worst that can happen is that they turn you down for the job, but at least you can say that you tried? :)
No problem. Wondering if the mod is on vacay. :P (Joking.)
I'm currently attending college for my AA degree, so that might be an issue. All depends if they even want to consider me, that is.

I imagine that would be a problem, as they might need to ring you and you need to be there (although I found that doesn't often happen with admin jobs). The only thing that I could suggest would be to explain your predicament and tell them that, while you are attending college, you could work the hours they need you too? I don't know if you could though. For example, my job is 40 hours a week "officially", but I always end up working 45-50 hours a week, sometimes 60. Would you want to stay in that job once you've graduated?
