Okaaay so, I don't have any empty pet slots. I'm trying to either save up for a gold account so I can get a couple more pets with nice-ish real word names, or get an individual pet slot. If I do the former, since I would be getting all those extra slots I'm trying to think of rw names that I can make stories for. I've noticed that one word I'm thinking of for a name is basically synonymous with a rw pet I USED to have, but couldn't think of a story for back then ;-;

Not only do I kinda miss the names, I miss having the species. I miss having a Hydrus Paralix. And Graveyard Escalade. And Reborn (...and Hydrus) Celinox. And a couple other things xD; At least I don't have reason to change species of pets I own now (therefore waste millions of sP from buying the potions I used on them, which I've done plenty of times before).

Ah well, the names I'm looking at look alright. Hoping to get a Galactic Escalade, and maybe a new Reborn or Hydrus pet.

What about you? What pets do you regret letting go of? And what have you wasted sP on?

So far I only have two semi regrets. One is giving up my spectrum jollin, who is now a chibi bumbus (still cute) The other is my first 76166 that was a genderless named Gor and not until AFTER I put it in the pound did I get inspiration and by then it was gone T.T Though I do love my current one as his name apparently means "Black God" in slavic.

FINALLY GOT THE 15K WARDROBE DONE!!!!! Next up gutting and selling it.

I used to have two pets who's names matched in a sense, they were Japanese words. My ideas fell through for the pets so I adopted them both out. I don't want to say what the names are, since one of the names is about to clear and I kind of want them back again. But the pets were a cream paralix and an experiment . They were sisters, and while the paralix was viewed as a goddess, the became jealous and "killed" her sister. In reality, my beat her sister to a pulp and proceeded to impersonate her afterward.

I also miss owning kerubis and keetos. Unfortunately I never could get my ideas for those two pets in particular to work.

The best way to be happy with someone is to be happy alone. That way, company is a matter of choice and not a necessity.

I have a few regrets...I regret that I fed certain pets and that I read some pets certain books. I realized later that I like these numbers to stay at zero for all my pets except my gourmand pet and the books for my battle pets, and then keep everyone but my gourmand in the resort. I know I can just cover up this info with profiles and stuff but it just bothers me that I didn't think before carelessly feeding and reading things to my pets. Some of these pets are somewhat expensive in color and some of them are battlers so the cost and time to consider doing paid name transfers is just not something I could do. I find this a big regret because some of them have food preferences or time period constraints and its kind messes up their story a bit for me.

My other regret was that I had a pet that I found in a name clearing and I had the pet for like 5 months before I realized that the "I" in the name was an lowercase "L" I had copy and pasted the name the day it was due to clear and on the pet pages of subeta there is no difference between "L" and "I". I'm someone who doesn't really care for misspelled names for my pets, so I ended up sending them to the pound. Long story short I regret that I kept the pet for so long due to laziness and maybe that caused me to miss out on an even better pet.

One regret I have is I sold a glade potion I thought I would not need. Now I need to buy one againXD Another regret that I had was that I pounded a pet I had that I didn't think I had a story for. Later I thought of one and he was gone. Funny story, I made another pet with one extra letter and when I went to see what happened to the pound one I saw it in the pound again so I switchedXD

I regret that I gave away my first pet a Blacklight Archan who I trained and used to be my gourmand pet (had eaten over 1.500 foods). So now I have to start over again with Hawaii haha. Thankfully his status are now higher then the Archan and only the feeding goes good as well.

I regret getting rid of the five pets I made after I got a GA. They are long gone each having been deleted in the old way of clearing accounts.

I guess my biggest regret is not having chosen to represent more pairs with singular pets. It's really hard for me to part with any of the character names now... Even though doing so would help me free up 4 more pet slots at least... (I actually have 9 pairs in total, but some of them would be difficult to combine.) Right now I've got one pet I need to adopt out (Trollop) and another I'm on the fence about. As long as they are on my account though I am maxed out. While I don't need the 5+ slots currently because I am too overwhelmed with RL stuff to be worrying about my pets at the moment, I'd like to have the room when I have time and energy again.

I also regret the fact that I created Classified and then made him Steamwork. I soon realized that I wouldn't be getting the gear gender. I was just so excited to get the name that I didn't take the time to look up what I needed to do to get the gear.

Finally, I regret every time that I have adopted a pet only to later realize that the pet wouldn't work for me. Especially if I had applied for the pet, because then I feel like it's doubly disappointing (i.e. my own disappointment and potentially the previous owner's)...

For the most part, I try to be really careful to think things through before I do anything pet related, to make sure whatever decision I am making is one I won't regret.

I don't think I've given up any pets that I regret, but I do regret adopting some and zapping them into something better, in the hopes of rehoming them. Usually it was a waste of Wizard Tokens because no one wanted them even after they looked better, and the number of pets in the pound just keeps going up :(

Mostly I end up regretting adopts, and I end up putting them back. Not a huge deal, but a waste of some sP. And a couple times I've bought potions/elixirs then changed my mind and had to try to resell them.

Oh and the time I spent refreshing the pound and finding awesome pets to post on the "unique pets in the pound" thread. Most of the time no one adopted them, and then someone deleted the post I was maintaining for Pokemon fanpets in the pound :( Not posting on that thread anymore.

Out of the 40 I had rotated out in of my 20 slots years ago (yes, 40, because I was admittedly very fickle), I really miss 7 of my pets. Sawyer the Cleaner the Bloodred Keeto, Shenhua the Reborn Paralix, Lotton the Wizard the Darkmatter Montre, Empress Daji the Nightmare Keeto, B.A.R. the Common Jollin, Bullet the Arid Popoko, and Shuranui the Darkmatter Kumos.

Their treasure chests and profiles took me years to build. Unfortunately, I decided to stop playing around 2011 and placed all but one of my pets in the pound. I haven't picked Subeta back up until recently. I'm just happy I never got rid of the first pet I ever had on this site, Taeru my Reborn Celinox.

i regret letting go of the initial gaggle of pets i had when i first created this account. kolja's the only one i've still got, and he's been morphed/potioned/renamed/etc so many times i can't count. if only i'd hung on to the rest of those losers, i'd have a bunch more old pets :(

I regret adopting out my first pet.

When I originally joined the site in 2006, I created a demi. Her name was temporarily available, but what I regret most is not having the whole pet inclusive -- ID, name, original stats, etc. Things like that are sentimental to me.

I feel you on terms of the pound and the unique pets in the pound thread. Most of the names I posted there weren't adopted, even though I felt they could drive someone's creativity as long as they changed their color and species around a bit with the zapper. Though he isn't one of my pets, there is this one reborn Kerubi whose name I reported on that thread. I was actually surprised to find him on someone's profile a while later, but now he's back in the pound again. Well, at least he's reborn, so I'm sure he won't be there forever.

I thought it would be fun to zap Hawlucha.

Now he's a female swampie, the one thing I didn't want to happen (gender change) happened on the first zap xD Oh well, that was the risk I was willing to take, not the end of the world or anything, but it's still relatively disappointing.

I regret pounding a pet with a real word dog breed name. At the time, I couldn't come up with anything for it (even though I loved the name) so I ended up pounding it. Now I own a dog with that breed name, so I could've made a tribute pet. Oh well.

I also regret not planning out my pets in a longer length of time. Usually as soon as I get an idea, I quickly write a story, then potion my pets, then work on TC items. But then I get bored of the idea since it was on a whim and want to change them again. I can't express how much sP I've wasted on potions. I need to be more patient and decide if it is what I really want.

The last thing I regret is when I wasted loyalty boxes in my newbie years on potioning pets. What. Was. I. Thinking. Should've used it on a pet slot; potions are pretty easy to save up for if you put effort into it. The worst part is that I don't even own my glade xotl and angelic lasirus that I've wasted loyalty boxes on anymore xD

I definitely regret letting go of some of my older pets, and also going inactive back when accounts were cleared. All of my pets were deleted with my account and when I rejoined I considered remaking them, but it wouldn't have been the same. u-u

Hm, I never really regretted letting go of a pet. I do, however, regret not snatching up a lot of really good names before the site became more popular. There were so many available then (think names like Fire, Cloud, Flame, etc.)

I did get some, though, so I can't complain too much.
