oh yeah, no, i'm definitely gonna charge you for 8 full profiles in this scenario. it's more like a. purchase of licence to distribute among your pets - and your pets only - to put it fancily, when it comes down to it. i reckon i'll get more into price and payment once i've sat down and 'measured' the coding going into this commission. pc should be, knocks on wood, back in action within the week.

further delay, i'm afraid. not only has the psu died (now swapped with a new one) but the processor AND motherboard AS WELL AS my RAM need to be replaced. fingers crossed the new parts arrive faster than the psu did. they were ordered today, so. hoping for mon-wed. patience running thin! miss my baby, lmao.

oh, 28? wow! i'd totally initially read that as 8, haha. now i really gotta figure out how to sort payment. i've thought of maybe doing it like 100 csc per pet the "base css" is used for, on top of the base price (which i don't know right now bc i can't remember the amount of anchors needed. as stated in my op, i usually do 100 csc per bonus div/anchor/etc. now's a good time to let me know if you're still interested, based on what the price is starting to look like)

I'm a little confused. You wouldn't actually be making 28 profiles, just one single template version and I'd be editing it personally to fit all of my pets? All of the colorful images in my example would be gray/whatever generic color you want and I'd personally use my tablet to draw/design/edit that piece and plug it back into the coding for each one. Is it normally not allowed for someone to aesthetically alter a profile they purchased and reuse it for another pet? I'm totally willing to pay more because I'm well aware how time consuming the coding will be vs. a normal pet profile. And I definitely want to pay you for your time and effort, but not that much extra simply because I'll be using it alot. I guarantee I'll buy more pet slots in the future, and it'll be used for them too... And I'm not technically getting 28 profiles, I still have to alter all the graphics and turn their stories into gif reels to put in the profile. It will truthfully be a year or more before I even get a majority of these up, altered and finished.

no, it's generally frowned upon to alter css and use it elsewhere. difference is, i already know you intend to do this, and it's a new situation for me, so i don't know how to tackle it. hence my previous mention of "licence", a token of appreciation while using the code on more than one pet. my reluctance is mainly based on how i'm basically taking business away from myself by only having to make one profile to suit 28 needs, bringing us back to the point of you basically buying the right to alter the code and reuse elsewhere. idk if 100 csc is expensive in that respect, it's only a relatively high number because it's x27 + price for the "base" profile itself, which looks to be around 2000 csc. like, on the bottomline that still beats 1500-2000 x28. edit: actually more like 1000 csc for the base profile since i don't have to make the layout, sorry about that. 500 csc for the base coding, additional 500 for the anchors involved in the process. so 1000 csc + (100 csc x(however many profiles you intend to edit and reapply the css on))

I thought you ballparked me at 8k csc so 2.8k csc on top of that sent me for a spin lol. And I should have mentioned that I'm capable of coding my own really "bare-bones but functional" profiles, so for me it was kinda this idea, or I'd just settle for my own bleh-ness since I'm not insanely active anymore and funding 28 profiles would probably make me want to stop playing lmao. Someone actually responded to my pm today and accepted my proposal for an art trade plus currency, which would be easier since I've been liquidating steadily, but still only at around 6k csc/sp equivalent. I also don't want you to feel like you are being underpaid, I always hate that feeling and absolutely don't put up with it in real life, so I totally understand. Your profiles are awesome tho, and I'd love a user profile from you ^-^ I just need to think of a cool layout and send you a template if you would still be willing to do it in the future? (I'm aware I'll probably have to nab a slot via the ping group lol.)

it's a minor update but i thought why notttt as a way to celebrate my pc coming back to life!! wip. i've centered the layout (idk why i hadn't to begin with???) and added some outlines for the content. hope the colour's okay, i feel like i've tried literally every possible variation imaginable, hahaha

while working with other's layouts/templates generally rubs me the wrong way (not my aesthetic/style/etc., and the stylistic challenges that then go into the coding) i suppose it'd be wrong of me to turn the possibility down before seeing it. you'd have to nab a slot via the ping group though, obvi. : )

ALRIGHT it's been a long time coming but we're finally here 😲 before we finish up though i just gotta ask which you prefer (bc i can't decide right now tbh): muted images OR pang/colourful images the live version is currently the muted kind.

I think I prefer the more colourful images, the grey looks a bit sad next to the pretty yellow!

With the live version, I am having some trouble with the name being cut off at the bottom of the layout? I have just a wee laptop screen so I'm sure that's got something to do with it.

updated the backgrounds (haven't adjusted the divs etc), does it cut any of it off now?
