I wonder how many of the users that are so against the shrub being altered are users getting expensive items. And, likewise, how much they spend in total.

I also wonder how newer users feel about this aspect of the event. Not many of them can even participate.

To me the "massive wishes" aren't getting granted. Those are the 5000csc card, the rare only 25 or so on site items, god weapons, and before the fix some of the CWs.

I've gotten to the point where I'm only participating once a day. Make a wish and grant a wish. So for the 3mil item I give I ask for an item between 3mil and 4mil. After that the only way I participate in the event is refreshing on the main park page to pick up trash.

What we have here I believe is a case of a few bad eggs ruining the wishing shrub, I'm pretty sure there all plenty of people who put in reasonable wishes, but those get granted relatively quickly and all that's left are the unreasonable once, ergo, the ones we all see when we refresh at the gift shrub

I'm all for automatically clearing an item from the wishing shrub if it's not granted in say 6 hours, and to make it fair, let the user have the chance to wish for another item as long as it is not midnight yet. I think this can help rotate some of the stale ridiculous wishes in there.

My only complaint is that I wish people would be more creative with their wishes... so many requests for 500 csc cards only sounds like you are asking for money instead of y'know... gifts, ruins the spirit of giving if you ask me.

(For the record I've granted 5 wishes so far and spent about 20 mil or so in total and have asked for items of almost the same value in return. All my wishes were granted very quickly!)

Have to be honest, I am not enjoying this, due to the high cost. I don't earn a lot on site day to day and would like to save up for the festival goods, so don't want to give or receive super expensive wishes.

Maybe we need an 'opt into a budget' thing - people give/gift items under 1mil, 1-5 mil, 5 mil+ or something? Or whatever you wish for the 'gift giving' options are that same price range? If that is even plausible.

To date I have granted 0 wishes despite a lot of 'shrub stalking'. Which sounds a bit icky. :P But I would like to be able to join in more.

I like the idea of a budget shrub. lol

I think I'd have no problem with the higher end wishes if there wasn't the necessity for some of us to have to grant a wish to make a wish. Those higher end wishes are just sitting there clogging up the shrub from people who would like to make wishes that can be granted and from people who would really like to join the fun and grant wishes.

I stalked that damn shrub for 3 days until I finally managed to claim and grant a wish I could afford. I was so happy because playing anon is fun. Wish I could do more but there are just so many hours in a day to sit on subeta doing nothing but refreshing one page.

Wow I couldn't agree more there are so many CSC card requests at the moment and items of over 30 mil its ridiculous. i myself only asked for a 2mil item and that's all I'll ever get because nearly every other person on subeta is being greedy and selfish. I went through today for one of the cheapest items on my wish list to put on 1.5 mil still a bit expensive but I cant even wish for it because I don't have upwards of 20 mil to spend on other people. I would like to get achievements but I think I am just gonna buy myself one cheap wishlist item a day instead

Thats so true the poor newbies, they must be totally sidelined because of this

There shouldn't be a limit. If people want to wish for super expensive items, that's their choice. After all, it says the Wishing Shrub is a place "where you can ask for your deepest desires". It's their loss if they don't get granted...but there are people who are granting such wishes.

Quick inquiry, are we viewing all the wishes at once? Out of how many of us wishing, these are the only ones not granted?

said wishes are being granted, but it seems people are having trouble spotting the desirable items they would donate. Instead of trying to filter stuff, why not just limit what is displayed? er.... Why not view wishes the same way we view the donation bin stuff? We already refresh a lot there, but we see different things each time. Plus, it limits the mass amount of people all trying to out speed click each other for that low priced item. It's just a brainstorm though. I'm not code and site savvy, so I don't know what would put a strain on the site or if this could actually work. Couple it with something to clear wishes every so often and it might work. Or someone already suggested this and I look like a complete fool right now. >>

I just want to say thank you to the users that asked for old SubQ items and reasonable stuff. After many refreshes since this started (my eyes hate me), I was finally able to complete the 10 for the achievement. Thank you person that asked for the 250 point wizard token. hugs That was my final one.

RIP Mom, I love & miss you more than you know. Tell Dede hi.

If people want to ask for something worth 49m in shops, that's their prerogative. They know it's most likely not going to be granted. It's not for you to say what people can or can't wish for.

It is hard for people to participate in this if they can't afford anything, but I'm sure there are tons of reasonable wishes that just get granted quickly. Gotta keep an eye out for the cheap ones ;)

I love the wishing shrub, I think it is an awesome idea. However I have not been able to grant a single wish because a) I am poor, not as active as I once was so less sP b) sweet googly moogly are those wishes expensive!

I like the idea of a super pricey wishing shrub and a more reasonable shrub...

I like the idea of sorting the shrub, because the few times I even thought of granting a wish was immediately squashed down because, damn, it's a mess to look at and try and see what's not expensive. Way too much to sort through and watch out for. Limiting it doesn't sound like much of a good idea - honestly, it's an unsorted mess, but when you ask someone, hey, if you could wish for anything on Subeta, what would you wish for?, what are you really expecting, a slots spork? It's not hurting you, it's not hurting them, and it's not a giant testament to man's arrogance. Granted, it can be annoying if you're searching for something in your price range, but it's not really something I find highly agitating. But of course, different strokes for different people.

I was able to grant 10 wishes for the achievement... 9 by yesterday, and the last one today. I think the most I spent on one wish was 4 million (on the "Likes Unicorns" shirt... I needed it for the achievement myself, so I bought it, got the achievement, and quickly passed it on!). My cheapest was a "Fresh Meat" (unless you count the one I spent quest points on).

I think it may be like others have mentioned, the really pricey wishes don't get granted and the cheap ones are granted quickly... so all we really see are the pricey ones sitting there. Maybe it's not as bad as it seems.

Not really sure how the wishing shrub works, there must be a limited number of wishes able to be tied to the shrub at once, because I was able to make a wish without granting one. I asked for an Arid Pearl. My wish got granted in less than 5 seconds, and that made me happy enough. I don't know why people are wishing for ridiculous unbuyable things.

Maybe there could be like tiers to the shrub, like one for Cash Shop items, and one for restockables. The sad thing isn't that people are asking for super pricey things, it's that they probably are getting granted by the super rich and able to afford CSC users, while the rest of us broke people look on pinning to get those achievements knowing that here is one more thing on subeta that you won't get unless you can afford to spend real money. THAT is what makes me sad.

As much as I enjoy gifting and getting expensive items, I think something has to be done to stop the clog of csc cards and other ridiculous wishes that are just sitting there. I'm totally not surprised about it, but like posted above, not everyone has the capacity to remain reasonable with features like these. Human greed and what not. The site should predict for that.

My most expensive was 500k I am asking for things that most people can afford,I also don't think anyone is going to cancel their wish after the 2 hours are up I am seeing more and more of the same items in there so it looks like the people who are wishing for those expensive items are not getting.

I don't mind spending a lot of sp on a friend but not for a complete stranger who more than likely just resell it.Yes there should be a cap they got rid of the custom items why can they not do it with those really expensive ones

Honestly, I just wish the shrub would stack the identical wishes. So if there's 25 500CSC Card wishes, there would just be one box showing that wish, and any that are granted can be distributed at random or in order of people who made the wish. That way, the ungranted wishes page isn't just clogged up with identical wishes that aren't being granted.

I think maybe there could be 'branches' of the same shrub? One branch under 1mil, one 5mil and under, another 10mil and under...that way people could tailor their wishes to what they can spend. You'd still have to grant a wish first on the branch you're going to wish on. I'm getting awfully frustrated when all I see are wishes of legendaries and GAs and cash shop items. Maybe we could at least cut out the cash shop stuff? I don't know...something needs to be done though. I feel like I'm the only person asking for reasonable stuff. People are so greedy.

I think that would help tons. Great idea.

- If you've noticed, a lot of the shrubs defenders are older, seasoned players who have had a ton of stuff stashed away in their vaults or a crapload of sps saved up. My sister and her friends who recently joined are not able to participate because they don't have high inflated items or a ton of sps lying around. One of them has become so disenchanted by the bush that she's pretty much under the assumption that the site favors older players lol :P
