if you're getting stressed by buying pixel food that's on a timer to make sure it stays rare and special, given how it's special event food, you need to calm down and maybe browse tumblr for a little bit. you're not meant to be able to get all the things unless you work for it.

So many things for my Gourmand pet to nom. Loving it. The prices are pretty similar to the cruise prices I think, aren't they? And as long as the menus don't change daily I don't mind the wait time.

there were a few complaints iirc, mostly about the timer and rotating schedule but other than that I think people liked the idea of there being all items for a flat cost. I'm glad to here there will be some tweaks to it next time

And I totally feel you on the overpriced food. The LA County Fair is like the most awful place to buy food, but it's so yummy.

I am loving it too, love the opportunity to get more unique items for my gallery achievement and the artwork on them is superb! Sure the prices are high, but so is festival food in real life so I guess it's reflective of the real world!

The food items are SO GORGEOUS and well-done I am just losing my mind forever over them, oh my god. They make me so hungry though, dammit Subeta.... Haha I'm a little hesitant to throw too much sP away to get food since I don't know how much I'll need oh god, but! I do definitely see the logic for the high prices and really it's not that much lol, I mean, 60k is pretty much pocket change.

OK but the real thing I'm losing my mind forever over is the food trucks themselves particularly the hipottu one I have been in a perpetual state of 'stupid happy look on my face' because ohhh my god I love hipottu so much, I love that damn species SO MUCH, and the food truck was so unexpected and it's SO GOOD, can i have one IRL please. the art for the hipottu thing on top is ADORABLE and PERFECT and it's even a sun hipottu?! Sun is my favorite colorfill (tho sadly i do not have a sun hipottu of my own :'c Gold suited my colorfill hipottu better...) and i just. I LOVE... god, i love the hipottu. i am so so so happy to see even just NPCs that appreciate hipottu, i am so glad. Best species.

The prices are a little steep for food, but I'll end up getting them all throughout the event. Some of the descriptions let out a giggle. Totally worth it.

I liked the Alegarten shop and how it worked. The way it works for this festival is fun, too IMO, and there's no reason the two events can't be different.

As someone who loves holiday stuff and hoards it like forever and in huge lots, I have noticed that people will pay exactly the kind of sP that they are complaining about in this thread for foods that I have collected years ago. ...then they complain to/about me & other hoarders for hoarding it when if we didn't it would have gone and disappeared, used all to Quests years ago...

Users have contempt for say the White Alegarten Cake, just because it's common. Making it uncommon, and making it so users from other parts of the world might have easier dibs sounds like a pretty good tool for applying value to squares of pixels, to me.

The food is so pretty. 😍 I love the sweet truck in particular: UGH, SO PERFECT.

When I said we'd change it, I meant and I would look at the feedback we got last year and see if we can tweak the timing or maybe make a day of "24 hours of food food food" or something. :) The general set up will stay the same!

The food trucks are amazing full stop. The food trucks are cute, I love the chalk menus using the Peka-Boo colour scheme and of course the amazing food art! I remembered the Counsellor's Cruise Ship event and I loved the idea of the menu from different regions of Subeta which I've admired. I also like the idea of the free food when you have a certain item to reflect a food truck. It's sweet! ^^

Looking at price it is pretty expensive for food but the Cruise Ship's food was just as expensive but I'm not too fused about it.
