"Why yes, m'lady. I did have soemthing to do with that Aiden said, gesturing at the two. "But I think they're making it work on their own."

((OOC: Plant scrambled? :3))

"Oi! Woman, don't look at me. Just because I kiss you doesn't mean I want to actually spend time with you." Aiden grinned his trademark, toothy grin to show her he was kidding, firmly grabbing her hand, kissing each of her fingers, and looking at her as he did so. "Mandy Milwood, would you do me the honor of being my partner?"

Vee waltzed into Herbology right behind Professor Naplt, who was suggesting they all find partners. He immediately noticed Aiden and Mandy, and decided to sit by them.

"Oi, you two got partners, yet?" He slid himself into a seat next to Aiden, noticing something different about the two of them that he couldn't quite place. "Did I miss much in Potions? I was 'out sick.'" He smirked and glanced around the classroom. He noticed Nix and a Hufflepuff he recognized vaguely...Wood or something? talking on the other side of the classroom. Apparently things had changed since he'd seen his friends the day before.

((Hope it's alright that I made him friends with them...)

Effie sat in Transfiguration, one of her best classes, awaiting the arrival of Professor Sharpsborough. He was her second favorite teacher, the one who had given her a jump-start to becoming an animagus. She looked over at the other side of the classroom, seeing how few Slytherins had arrived in class. Slackers, she thought, rolling her eyes.

Effie, being at a much higher academic level than most in her grade, had been put in a few seventh-year classes, including Trasfiguration. She usually sat on her own in the class, seeing as she wasn't really friends with a lot of seventh-years and a lot of them considered her a know-it-all who thought she was too good to talk to them. In truth, she figured they just wouldn't like her much so she never put any effort into making friends among her classmates. She had sixth-year friends and that was enough.

Aiden looked at Mandy out of the corner of his eye and grinned at her embarasment, squeezing her hand reassuringly, he kissed her on the cheek. Might as well give them a show. "Hogsmede? Yeah, me either. Mandy, will you go to Hogsmede with me? Like a date?"

Nix waited patiently for instruction, anxious to find out what they would be doing. With Woody as a partner, she was sure that her assignment would go perfectly. She grinned. ((sorry. short.))

"Don't worry, dearest Mandy, I will remember to be your valiant lad and bring the gold with me on our expedition," Aiden said, in a very bad old-timey voice. He wanted to make her laugh, he wanted to make her smile, he wanted to make her happy, and the scariest of all, he wanted to make her truly love him.

Vee watched his two friends, his expression growing more and more horrified. "What happened?"

Vee had had his suspicions about those two for a while, but he didn't think either of them had the guts to act on it. Neither really thought the other liked them that way. In any case, Vee was shocked to see such drastic developments between them in only one day. He was happy for them, sure, but...it just didn't sit well with him for some reason.

He let out a quiet sigh and looked around, spotting the Hufflepuff Mandy had mentioned. He asked to be partners and she accepted, so he invited her to come sit with the other two.

Nix grinned and clapped her hands like an excited child. Between her and Woody, this assignment should be a cinch! Plants seemed to want to grow for her and she found the Whomping Willow to be absolutely fascinating. "Oh! This is so exciting!" she squealed, hopping up to grap some books before all the good ones had been taken.
She skipped back to her seat and spread the books out in front of Woody. "What should we start with? I have no idea how to take care of one of these things. Do you?"

Nix giggled. "Aww, it'll be just like having a pet! I'll pick up some toys for it at Hogsmeade for it tomorrow. We'll have to name it!"
She leafed through a few pages of the book, absorbing the knowledge it offered to her. She was glad that they were only dealing with seedlings. Due to her own dealings with The Whomping Willow and what she had just read, she would be afraid to work with anything much bigger. She would rather not be clubbed to death by a homicidal plant.

"Pfft. I knew exactly what I was getting myself into, I've known you for almost seven whole years you know. Besides, I might not be the best at Herbology, but I can control the water amounts the plant gets, if it comes to it. Then we know it'll grow with the healthy amount of water at least. That'll get us at least an Acceptable."

"But Ma-andy!" Aiden fake-whined, turning puppy dog eyes on her, "I don't want to study, especially not a book!" He sounded scandalized at the very idea of books. "They come from the most dreaded place of all," he leaned in closer to her and whispered dramatically, "the Library."

And she totally would have won, too, had she not actually said the words 'I win'. Oh, now it was on! "Oh really? You win, do you?" Aiden's trademark, wide and goofy grin spread across his face as he turned to see that the teacher was, in fact, outside talking to the Gamekeeper. Turning back to the girl, his grin grew and he jumped on top of her, knocking her to the floor, and tickling her without mercy.
