I caught this last restock, but from when I got the "New News!" notification to when they sold out was only about 2 minutes.

So the RS of these tickets are announced via New News? I've missed out on these RS as I live on the other side of the planet so I sleep when most activity is occurring, and yesterday I had to go to the vet to find out I'm probably going to have to ....I'll not think on it til I have to. I already lost one pet last Saturday and I'll probably lose the other in the next few days. So I'm doing my best not to lose it completely by distracting myself here, and it seems that my luck (as usual) just sucks. Does the 2 per person cap mean I can't even ask some one to buy my tickets for me?

You can, it'll just count toward their 2-ticket limit, so they'll only be able to buy one more.

The staff is also making an effort to release tickets at all different hours, to give people from different time zones a chance.

OK. Well here's hoping that I'm here when it happens. I don't want to deprive anyone of their tickets. Thanks for letting me know.
