Odd, I never get that error and I've only gotten service unavailable maybe 5 times in the past month?

I get these all of the time too, but usually a refresh or two fixes it fairly easily. I agree that it's annoying, but I think it is an improvement over how the site used to be (going down during every event or big release).

I only remember one because I was on my phone at work, and tl;dr I have 3 pets with the same training time so I only set an alert for the last one... and I got a cloudflare error that ate my "leave an alert?" option and I was like so freaking mad I wanted to punch my phone (yeah yeah, first world problems, but their training time is 280.5 minutes, which is approx. enough time for me to totally forget about training without an alert).

Otherwise I haven't really had this problem. That said:

Still, one in what's probably been at least a good few weeks if not longer is just fine really, especially considering it's an event.

I do feel badly for those people who are getting it more frequently though... I have to wonder what the difference is, why the site only acts up for some.

Lately I've been getting this every night at midnight. Lasts for a few minutes then it's back to normal. I figure it has to do with everything changing over for the new day, However I never noticed the site keeling over at midnight before cloudflare, could be wrong on that. I also have gotten it at random times. Last few random times were around 11am-12pm subeta time. Never lasts long but long enough to screw up quests. Seems to always happen when I'm trying to do wiz quests.

Agreed.

When I first joined subeta, the site was consistently laggy, and commonly taken down temporarily. It was a chore to get things done, you couldn't just leisurely play like you can now. The site has improved quite a bit, yeah, there's kinks to be worked out.. but these are just an annoyance, not a hindrance like it used to be.

I've been getting them at times throughout the entire year, but today it seems to have gotten even worse. I keep running into those "website is offline" pages a lot today.

I wonder if it has something to do with loading lots of data at once, I don't have a huge shop/gallery/vault/wishlist/anything nor do I visit them often.

I've had it happen while doing battle quests and wizard quests, which I don't think load that much data? It's happened once before on wish lists, but it's a (horrible lol) given that Wishlists are gonna die during an event with people adding so much to them.

I haven't had any today knock on wood. I just wish we knew why it was happening so we could avoid it :-/

I'm also from Europe and asleep during possibly worst hours, so there is that too. I hope they look into it, I'd hate it if I had the lag back.
