-sits down for economics 101- by taking out sp in circulation from on hand users you in turn decrease the surplus of sp on site. this makes items on site cheaper because eventually market has to drop value to meet the demand. therefore by taking from richer users on site you're helping poorer users buy things c: all these small things around site help do that. from the fees you pay to train your pet, to lodging it. or in lore if sebastian is taking from the rich he's devaluing sp currency for all.

That would actually be kind of fun. Announce that we all have to pay a really high tax in 1-2 weeks time, and then we all riot and a war breaks out between us and a bunch of militant IRS agents. The more wins we get, the lower the tax rate is once the war is over and we have to pay up.

Now I'm imagining nerdy accountants in full armor, and it's a glorious visual. :P

i'm not going to discuss politics either, i'm discussing the model that this site is using to formulate their economy on the basis of. I'm from Britain and our taxes fund our hospitals, schools, homeless and unemployed so yes our views on politics will be very different. however, if i came of as condescending I apologise. though pinging me twice to tell me to go read my own constitution before having an opinion when not having attacked yours in any shape or form is also pretty rude.
