Hey I dunno if there is already a forum about this, I hadn't seen one, at least recently. After doing a Shinwa's Quest she can give you one, or two, of many gifts. Can anyone explain what each item can do? Give strength? Give intelligence? Give XP? Or anything else?

Just to keep it simple: a list with the uses in the item notes.

I'm hoping you can help me w/my stats question…

Do the intel points gained from Shinwas items have a catch or something? I ask because I used a few and my pet should have gained another alchemy point and he didn't. When I look under "spells" it says he has 58 AP, but at an intel of 951, he should have 59. (59x16=944) and 951>944, ergo his AP should be one more. Is there something wrong with my math, or am I missing something? Is there some catch I don't know about?

there is an onsite booster list. It's on the old forum though, I can't find that board on the new forum - but you can still read it! :)

I know your question wasn't directed at me but your pet won't gain alchemy points with the boosters - you need to read a book to him/her when the next point is due to you...you will still get all other alchemy points you are owed though, hope I made sense :)

Read a book to your pet--you should be able to gain back the "lost" point. For alchemy points, you could increase intelligence with boosters/Mystic spindles, but to get the actual AP, you must read a book on the 16th multiple.

Is it for killer threat? I believe you will get the alchemy points you are owed on the 960th intelligence point so you need to read like 8 more books...or boost 7 and read a book on the 8th...

Yup, 8 more books or 7 boosters then a book on the 8th one...but be careful if you use shinwas key to boost because she can give 1-3 intel points and make you go over...happened to me before xD

I that's what I'll end up doing since there simply aren't any for sale. I'm still a ways off from the Extremely Hard opponents. I don't even have 10 wins on all of the Very Hard guys yet… (Hopefully soon! I have at least 5 wins on each.) What tier should KT be before taking on Error et al? He just got to tier 8 after Vesnali ended.

Until I got my smasher scroll, I was just using a couple of perilous whirlpools, the chance to freeze is not as high, but they worked well enough for me and I had three of them :) I think I got my first win on GE when I was tier 9 or 10? So I don't think you have too long to wait until you can kick his butt! :)

I read most my holiday books to all my pets, but save a few Token Shop books and a holiday book or two for times when I'm desperately needing a book to recover a lost AP that I didn't know I missed out on. The Job Agency can boost INT just when I'm not expecting it, and Tomes do a lot of INT all at once and I find those rainyday books are just the ticket.
