That's awesome, big congrats on doing such a great thing! I can't donate again for another month since I had a baby recently, but looking forward to doing it again regularly. I'm a bit weird and don't mind blood/needles at all. Plus free snacks! Lol.
Thanks! And congrats on your baby! The blood bank I go to has the best snacks
That's awesome! I can't donate blood because I have a blood clotting disorder and I'm on blood thinner. Years ago, I had to get blood from a donor b/c I had internal bleeding and almost died. Without donors like you I wouldn't be here. Thanks to everyone who donates.

I'm sorry to hear you have a clotting disorder. But I feel honored knowing that I've helped so many people.
I've donated 1 gallon but what amazes me is my grandfather has donated ever since he was in the military. He was like... up to 20-30 gallons (not sure exactly how far in those numbers really). He also donates platelets which apparently takes so much longer than donating blood.
That's awesome! My dad was also in the military. I looked into donating platelets but it takes twice as long and I'm too ADHD to sit there for 2 hours with a needle in my arm.
Yeah, I asked him what he did that entire time. All he said was, "They turn the tv on Fox Sports or something with Nascar" because he's donated so much. He has his own little room too. XD
You're amazing for donating so much. I donated a little each semester in college and once in HS but it wasn't too much.
I like nascar too XD. That's really cool. The blood bank I go to usually has the cooking network on. The people who who donate platelets and plasma get their own tv and pick of a movie.
Thank you. You're amazing for donating a gallon. That's quite a lot of blood.
