I like the cap the way it is and I vend almost every day. I make WAY more money by restocked and doing shinwas/quentins quests to be honest. Just broaden your horizons a bit, learn how to restock and do the more profitable quests. I think the vending limit is fine the way it is.
That is true. That may also explain why SubQ is always so crowded again as well and why invites for that shop sell like hotcakes.

I think the vending limit is fine as it is. I make probably more profit now daily than I did in my shop pre-limit because thinks actually have value now.
I am sitting on IDK how many thousand tokens too because I simply like to hoard them. So Not even vending every day just to add to my token hoard, I've still probably made almost 100mil in my shop alone since the change.
This change would throw everything the limit has actually made work out the window. No thanks.
...just a note that when I mean things restocked on the TS/Oracle, I mean new things at premium prices. (I wouldn't even mind a permanent stock of these) ^_^; Tbh with the token deflation hitting, I'm a little surprised (old) potions still restock for less than 1k WTs x:
I don't vend regularly, so it's hard for me to try guessing the effect that raising vending prices could have on the WT economy. If, even with the raise, vending will still be profitable enough, then fine; if not, then it may disincentivize even more people, which in turn would make WT prices keep dropping. In this sense, I think capping WTs given in quests would be a safer bet... yep.
[edit] New things at premium prices or old non-weapon BHH. The genderless berry topic just popped on my feed and I got reminded of it again :I I'd run so fast to grab it even if it was well over 10k WTs... ugh.
I think the limit is crap, and I hate vending. I never ever do it unless a plot or event requires and skip Major Drills quests that require it.
I have been restocking through all the changes in vending and siteshop pricing, and it's always been profitable. I just needed to change my strategies around.
But now, it is almost as easy as it was seven years ago when there was no HA, just a customized avatar that you yourself loaded in and a consortium of players limited the price of a GA to 58000sP (yes, there's been that much inflation). The book RSing Disconnection represented a (long gone) real phenomenon where you could restock just about anything and make a profit, but the site was deeply prone to just plain crashtastically crashing on you.
I think the limit could be doubled. I would prefer it be completely eliminated, because yes people who are wealthier than me certainly did it that way. I have no ill will towards them, just because they choose to play the game differently than I do. But doubling would be good, too.
It isn't like the vending limit has resulted in tons of people now restocking and competing with us always-restockers, because there've been Feedbacks and Suggestions about the costs of medium to low rarity items going through the roof. It's because all y'all aren't restocking them and we can only restock so much ourselves so we pick the items that are most likely to profit us. Don't like restocking yourself, but hate the cost of items? Support the end of vending limits.
I think touching the vending limit will kill what progress we've made in the economy thus far. Personally? Keep the vending limit, kill the tokens. I don't care how the latter happens. Raise the vending prices, make a token-only chance machine, more TS restocks, allow tokens to be exchanged for other currency, use tokens for the mystery box or whatever. Just... something. Because tokens really have like... four uses, right? TS, BHH, Vending, insert-whatever-one-I'm-forgetting. So how can you expect to put 300~ tokens into the economy per person per day (obviously it's less than "per person" but still.) and NOT have things go wonky?
If the main reason for hoarding tokens is TS/BHH's big prices then the 2WT for a vending machine item is a little strange. Raise the 2WT to 4, keep the limit, and maybe up the rarity cap like 10 or so? Just to even out those 2WT as far as profits go.
I kind of attributed the progress to more people doing quests then the vending limit and don't see why there is one tbh. It seems it will just decrease the demand for wizard token? How many have those just building up? Not being a vendor much, I did do it a couple of times and was irritated at the limit. Perhaps set a limit on a per week basis rather then each time?
I really like the idea on the whole idea about raising the vending prices, a token-only chance machine, more TS restocks and tokens being exchanged for other currency!
I really like the chance machine and the token exchange idea the most though! :x
Desperately Seeking!
I like the idea for finding other ways to use Wiz tokens that don't involve vending or the token shop.
No support for raising the limit, I like how the economy isn't as flooded with cheap crap these days. I feel that a vending limit raise would contribute to that and well, pretty much everything said.
