I can't be the only one who thinks the person who cares the most about a profile would be its owner. In no way do they "keep Subeta fun" for me.

I don't see the problem (barring the aforementioned technical issues), since we already have this option for shops and galleries. People want to show those off too, they may pay for them/put in a lot of effort coding them, but other people who aren't interested still have the option to toggle them off. (I understand this is a lot simpler coding-wise.)

So when you go to edit your profile, You have the option to add to take away sections (Shops, comments, friends, etc). It would only show the ones you have decided to add to your page, it wouldn't show all of them.

And to people saying that they worked hard on their profile, and while I may not like it, they do, and such. Its not like they would know if I saw it or not. When I go to someone's profile, I don't really check out their design of their profile. If I clicked on someone's profile for 2 seconds to give them a flower, and someone asked me 2 minutes later what their profile was like, I wouldn't be able to tell you anyway. So yes, it just my opinion on if I like someone's profile or not. But my opinion and ability to disable it, doesn't really effect anyone else but myself.

I wouldn't use this, but it would be handy for people who have old computers. So what if some people won't see the profile you created? They shouldn't be forced to. And it's not like there won't be anyone actually seeing the layout.

I don't really agree with the 'I paid for art so I want people to see it'. You paid for the art for yourself, not for other people to see. I can guarantee you most of us don't really care : /

I'll support this, simply because as a person who was using an older computer at one point in time I know how annoying it can be for pages to load, especially when there's a bunch of things on the page. Heck, back then youtube videos that weren't even automatically playing took ages.

If there's a way to get around people's profiles that are bare bones without coding so that you can still flower/tot/etc. My layout is for my own personal use, if there are those that don't want to see it that's fine by me. As long as doing this doesn't tamper with how I myself see my profile I'm all for it.

Would rather have a forum link. We already have those for dancing and kissing, it was very disappointing there was not a give flower link this year. 90% of people wanting to give flowers/trick-or-treat/kiss/whatever are going to be on the event forums anyways.

Gonna hop on the bandwagon and go along with the "Give A Flower To User" option being on the forum under the HA. Its convenient and simple. I feel sorry for people who have to go through hell and back when they look at a flashy, or neon colored profile to find something and then get a headache, but looking at what everyone else said, disabling profiles alone would be no help as it would either break them, or remove everything. :(
