I ended up with 10 x NY Tokens 11 x "Game Prize" Graveyard Items 1 x Mage Amulet and maybe 60k in profits.

I'm not sure I'd be able to tell if it has made much of a difference at this point, because the economy seems rather screwed right now. All quest items seem to have been depleted by the new years event, and the prices are therefore being driven up. Quests for restockable items will eventually even out again, but what about quests like Quentin's?

Or Cinthia's for that matter? She has been out for less than a forthnight and half of her doable quests have shot up by 30k/item not to mention you have to skip 2-5 quests (for a non-ga me) every day coz she asks for 500k-ub items .

fix or not, quentin's still much more impossible to get anything worthwhile from ever since... who knows when all this went down. i know i've posted here before, but today it just went completely overkill - a 20m item, and several above 200k??? what????? it certainly wasn't like this "before" (not talking when the quests were just revamped, but before... this.... screw-up thing, whatever it is). left with less than what i came with. again. despite being very conscious about how much i spent. quentin's quests are hardly worth doing any more, since i only get an amulet once every blue moon (used to be at least one or two per day), and more than half the quests are ridiculously priced. the whole concept of event items being swallowed into the pit that is quentin's quests IS nice, but now it seems quentin's quests have just hit a wall.

I've been going days with getting 0 - 1 amulets, and a lot of people seem to be sharing that experience but yet on the SS, the prices are still pretty low

It really seems like Quentin is pulling a limited amount of items to ask for, for example, I've had him ask me twice (since quests were changed) for but never any other Alchemy item, not even a different color. I wonder if that is part of the problem. :(

Quentin asks for a lot less expensive items then she asked me yesterday. Of course there are a couple of expensive items that she wants but it's obviously not as bad anymore, She doesn't ask for those expensive flowers anymore :K

I had to quit 14 quests. 14 out of 30 quests. That is insane. Of the ones I completed

I'm not sure what the "fix" was supposed to be, but I keep having to quit quests because the items are so expensive, and I'm getting really frustrated with it.

I noticed this as well. For the most part I dont care with hoarding like every single holiday/game prize but still. It looks to me like a handful of people have gone and bought up massive stocks of Holiday Items and Game prizes. Cinthia for an example.. The "game prizes" (old graveyard shop items) were sitting in my shop for WEEKS at 1sP. Now those same items are stocked by the hundred in shops for 30-50k. I realize this is a part of the way things work but it just seems crazy because the items sell for say 50k but the overall average price is less than 1k. This screws up any kind of sP reward no matter how it is adjusted. I hope all the prices will settle and the average price will be along the same as the price being paid :D

I tweeted Keith about it and he said he thought he put a price limit on the quests, but he won't be able to look until later. At least that's something?

Quentin keeps asking me for super expensive halloween candy like (50mil) and (1.6mil)

I wonder why his item pool got so drastically reduced. I mean compared to the last 3 'free' holiday events whose items rarely show up in his askings .

I'm so glad I'm not the only one getting annoyed by Quentin. I had to abandon 2/3 of the quests today, because it keeps asking for items well worth over 70k. Those items include elixirs and items from the steamwork menagerie and libertine lounge. I do these quests every single day and before Quentin never ever asked for those items. It's getting really annoying. I really liked doing Quentin's quests, but I'm kind of done with them right now. I hope it get's "fixed" soon

Since you guys said it has been updated, I thought I'd give an update as well... because nothing has changed, if anything it's even worse. Out of 20 quests I had to skip like 15 today, at least 10 asked for items over 1 million(!). Also seconding what said, a lot of items have a really low overall average price but a really inflated current price, making the quests just not worth it even if I decide to buy the items. Also I got zero mage amulets in the past 2-3 days, but this is probably due to me having to skip a lot of quests. I'm really glad you're looking into this though, because if it wasn't for the tokens I'd not even bother with Quentin quests anymore, even though it used to be a good way to make some pocket money.

I'm still experiencing problems with Quentin as well. He hasn't asked me for any items over 1 million sP, but I think paying anything over 5k for the holiday item is a guaranteed loss in terms of sP for me on the quest. Today, I did write down the items that were on the higher end (over 100k). The Vesnali flowers need to be taken out of rotation for the quests. Out of 30 quests today, I was only able to complete 11 due to the high prices of holiday items.
