Gah. I&;m in love with my Diet coke. IN LOVE WITH. I&;ve cut back, but it&;s so hard. I get caffine headaches, like crazy.

Omg, I get the same thing D:

Anyways, the most weight I ever dropped was 10 pounds within a month simply from drinking water instead of sugary drinks. That made me unhappy so I ditched it and put the weight back on.

I'm currently 5'6 or so and 150 pounds. Last year, I exercised intensely for just half an hour everyday for about 6 months. My weight stayed the same but I got abs and lost about an inch and a half off my waist.

So you don't need that much time to tone it up :)

27 pounds is nothing to sneeze at :) So super congrats on a job well done there..

I'm 135 pounds and 5'7 (trying to get down to about 125 so I can be a size 4 again). Whats worked the best for me is portion control.. I realized I was eating enough for really two people (for no apparent reason really. I would be full but would have cooked too much and not wanted to throw it out or reheat it later, as I hate reheated food, so in it went). So instead of cutting out foods I loved or trying some crazy diet I just started eating less..and that has worked wonders for me! That and realizing not to eat when I'm bored (was doing alot of snacking cause I was bored)

That and doing short bursts of exercise through the day..10-15 minute intervals (Sit and be fit kinda stuff..nothing outrageous or requiring anything more than a chair). Dont know if that helped but Good luck!! I'll be rooting for you!

We estimate you've spent about 2,127,481,171 sP on presents this year!

So, I take some stuff and it gives me no apetite so I kind of just ate an apple and a pb sandwhich a day, with a tea with huge amounts of sugar in it and lost 3 pounds a week.

I do NOT RECOMMEND this. ;) And also, I'd rather not lose this much weight in a week (I've lost about ten lbs in 3 weeks) because I hate it when people notice.

I've never been overweight in my life but that's because I've had a wonderful mum who put a lo of thought into cooking healthy, filling meals from really good sources. Up until a year ago, I'd never had KD or a grill cheese sandwich.

LET'S SEE. i'm about a 5 foot 7 inch girl, weighting a healthy 130lbs. :D majority of the extra is muscle weight from training and playing sports.

i don't suggest diets, because as soon as you go back to your old eating habits, you'll just gain ALL the weight you lost back again.

if you really want to lose weight, i suggest a "life change". eat healthier, drink LOTS of water, and exercise! i love it, it's exhilarating. you feel so accomplished after.

Once I'm married he's going to drag me kicking and screaming outside to take walks in the AM. But I can't do it alone, this neighborhood scares me.

I think some of my weight is muscle, seeing as my legs are nearly all that. I shall try to cut out diet coke. But its just so damn hard! Pouts Lol

Edit: Thanks everyone for the good advice. I'll try and see what I can do. I think it'll help that I wont be going to Ihop at 2am and stuffing my face as well. So lets review.

1.) No more Diet coke Sob 2.) Cut down portion size 3.) veggies, Fruits and water 4.) Protein keeps you fuller, longer. As does soup. 5.) exercise is not a four letter word. 7.) No diet coke, god damn it!

Hopefully, I can drop a few more pounds. Nothing crazy, since I don't want to alter my wedding dress too many times.

Fiber keeps you fuller too! :D (that's why so many companies advertise 12 grain, multigrain etc. because they have a lot of fibre, as do beans, raspberries and etc.) I find that frozen raspberries are a pretty good desert because they are low-calorie, pretty tasty and have a lot of fibre. For exercise, you should always exercise now, instead of later because TRUST ME you'll keep putting it off. You can wake up every morning and do a couple of squats, crunches and any other stretch that tickles your fancy. ;) Good luck.

Also, a good thing to remember is that you should have one day where you just pig out on what ever you like (one every two weeks or so..) but don't stop the exercise bit on that day. Yoga's really nice. It sounds all weird when you haven't tried it but it's incredibly relaxing.

Another thing; just because something is low-calorie does NOT mean it's better for you then something with more calories. Remember to look at the fat %, carb % and also the vitamins, protein amount and fiber amount.

I'm 14 years old and 107 pounds.

I'm also short so I'm a little chubby. But my chubbiness is starting to go away bit by bit just by exercising a bit each day - stretching, jumping jacks, sit-ups, and jogging/running. ^_^

I'm 5' 2" and 104 pounds. My highest weight was around 120 or something. I don't even remember. I've never actually done a real diet or anything like that, but cutting soda out of my diet helped a LOT. That and walking a lot.
