Aw, such a pretty fish. I agree with Jenz0r, gold fish are definitely poo factories and need a lot of space to swim around. Good luck with your fishes!

Yes that very normal (i have 2 of my own).Mine live in a 10 gallon tank with 2 other fishes and have much room to swim and play around so it be good if you got that size tank.Also be sure to clean the tank once it gets dirty,add stress releaver,and dont overfeed them!(Its hard for me to resist overfeeding them because they are always on the top sticking their lips out of the water looking cute and looking for food.)

Thanks. I've gotta contact my landlord tomorrow and okay a ten gallon tank with him. Besides, I'm looking to move and if I get to move where I want to I know that landlord doesn't care about fish tanks.

[edit]Okay, I feel REALLY bad now. I went and bought some gravel for the bottom of the bowl and a smaller ornament so they'd have more swimming room. So I catch them both in the net and hold them near the top of the bowl while pouring in the gravel. I let them loose and went to get the ornament and came back and noticed that one of the fish is now missing a fin. D= How long and healthily can they live with only one fin? I feel so bad and never want to catch them with the net again!
