Allow there to be a popout window for the shout box and make it instant so you don't need to refresh.

I don't like rollovers either.

More color schemes would be nice. Light calming colors would be nice. I was using defualt but that comes along with errors so now I'm on the pink one.

Have the option to keep the old layout if you don't like it. I hate how on some sites they have changes in layout you can't stand but you're stuck with it. Allow us to switch between them if we want.

Full screen is a good idea I guess. But Subeta already takes up half of my screen now...

I like the layout as is right now. It's nice and simple. Very user friendly. Even a dumbass can navigate it. Just nothing too confusing. And also, something that doesn't take forever to load. That's it.

Now to sum it up:

1. user friendly
2. fast loading

Also keeping it practical instead of shiny or pretty is best. Neopet's gotten way too fancy in it's layout and makes it an eye sore. Simple is better in most situations

I definitely would not like a full screen. I always have 2 internet windows open side by side and I'd like to keep it that way. Besides that, though, I think keeping it pretty simple would be best (again, I agree with the Neopets one going overboard). Nothing flashy or nothing that would stand out too much. Oh and I also like the idea of having an option to keep the old layout :)

I would love to see the option to go to wardrobe on the navigation bar on profiles... that's one of the things that bothers me...... The only other thing I can think of would be an easier way to move things en masse from your inventory to the wardrobe or shops or vaults other than the quick stock shop things... it;s just too easy to make mistakes with the little bubbles. Not sure how to recommend going about fixing that but maybe it's something to keep in mind i guess....

I don't know if these are so much 'layout' based, but rather things I would love to see added to the site.

• something like a pet page. I know, I know, groan Neopets, but that was one thing I really liked about Neopets, lol. ): That way I don't have to clutter up my pet's lookups or whatever we call them on subeta.

• a way to hide yourself. Like on your friends online thing. That would be nice, I enjoy anonymity.

I think a lot of people aren't understanding the idea of "full screen". That doesn't mean you won't be able to make your window size whatever you want it to be, you just might have to scroll over to get to where you want to go. 95% of sites are probably full screen. Subeta's design limits it to half the screen and I for one cannot staaaaand that big block of nothingness. I'd like it more if it were centered if no use is going to be made of that space but SO MUCH COULD BE DONE WITH IT! I hope you guys deliver!

That's exactly what I don't want. Horizontal scrolls are the worst :x Hopefully it will be fluid, and size to the browser. Especially since "full screen" could mean anything. My res is 1440 x 900, which would be ridiculously huge on a 800 x 600 screen.

I'm not sure if all of these fit under the category of layout, and a lot of them have probably already been said but here goes anyway.

1. Navigation menus: If we do get link menus that are put at the top of the page I like the sound of having to click on a category in order to make the drop down menu appear. The hovering ones I'll admit are kind of annoying. Whether the navigation menu is on the side or at the top, I'll probably be able to get use to it either way.

2. Pets Birthdays: Ever since the ability to see how old our pets are was taken away I've always been upset about it. We don't have to see exactly how many days old they are, but having a bit of information on the pet lookup page that tells us when exactly the pet was created would be much appreciated. One of my pets is adopted so I have no idea really as to how old she is or when her birthday is and it really bothers me.

3. Site Themes: Some more site themes would be nice. I think a Vesnali or Glade one would look really spiffy.

4. Event log page: Someone already mentioned this, so I'm just agreeing with them. It would be nice if when we get event notices, like when someone comments on our profile or something, that a symbol would show up at the top of the page to let us know. Then we could click on it and go to a page where all the events are listed instead of having to scroll down all the way on each page.

5. Area Maps: Having a nice image map with clickable links in each area would definitely be a welcome addition.

6. Full Screen Look: I agree with having the site take up the entire screen of our web browsers. To me it just looks better. If we can have full screen and also give people the ability to make it look the way it does now, then that's an added bonus.
