Well, people around me know that I have a thing with people mispronouncing my name, so of course they gave me nicknames such as Shane, Shawnee, Shaneil, Shay Shay.

Then, there are my parents and family members. They have a tendency to think I never shut up. (I don't blame them) So, they started to call me Motorola after the phone, Motor Mouth, and Giggles because I'm always finding something funny or making them laugh. Also on another note, I've acquired a nickname of which I do not know the origin. My sister and my parents seem to like to call me Lulu which I don't mind. In fact, I use Lulu as a lot of my internet names instead of my real one. I partially think it's because my mom wanted to name me Lucy.

online: I've gone by bericlain, incry, fishout, kafka, venal and nipsu. About a billion other ones on neo too, but these are most frequent. Oh and v1de on sites where every name is taken.

offline: Anya, Anjou, Anjouza, Kitlin, Nyu (apparently if you say my name real fast it comes out Nyu), asparagus/celery/other narrow green vegetable. Also Yaya from my parents and IDIOT. By my brother.

I am a notorious nicknamer though, I mean, if you hate them then I'll avoid them but I don't use most of my friends' real names. Such a hassle.
