The lights stay on. I live in a flat appartmen and people will get mad, if I pull the plug on the central lighting system. The elevater will probably stilll have light if I do that.

Without the lights on. People yell when I turn them on.

If I'm home alone, then I usually have a few lights on... because the upstairs totally creeps me out when I'm alone at night. D:

Normally though I don't bother. I see very well in the dark, and I know my house really well. As long as my dog hasn't spread his damn millions of toys all around the rec room (most frequented room for me at night) then I'm usually fine. I could literally navigate my whole house blindfolded I think. :P
