So, I'm curious, how many of you actually roleplay with your pets, and how many just like writing stories about them?

For my part, I think I'm about half and half. So far only Momentum and Sciony have been used in anything, but Industry's entire profile is of a character I made for an old cyberpunk RP I was in. A lot of the others, I just see them as complete snapshots of characters, and RP usually changes and molds a character to suit some particular situation.

I'd RP with my pets if I had more time :P Even for the ones that are almost impossible to find RP partners for, it's great fun writing their backstories and stuff.

I just write stories. Never really roleplayed.

I mostly just write stories for them. I'm too impatient/OCD to get a decent role play going; I'm always fretting my half of the post to death. x_x

I DO, kind of. As in -- I would roleplay, given the chance, but I haven't been all that compelled lately to start a roleplay. That, and the posting rate of the threads on the roleplaying board makes me twitch. I'm too used to the fast pacing on Neopets boards. But maybe I've just been down on the luck. :/

If I could get at least three or four other people who'd be interested in a roleplay, I'd be happy to set one up. <3 At the moment, all of my characters have personality core traits that could place them in any genre and/or setting. They're blessedly malleable.

i used to roleplay with my Neopets. but i got into the bad habit of never finishing roleplays. they became boring and pointless, so i just left them.

i used to roleplay a lot with my close friends, and i taught my boyfriend at the time to roleplay. x)

but neither of us have time anymore, and my boyfriend wasn't a particularly creative writer. :P

I roleplay my pets all the time because 5 of them are based off actual Original characters of mine, and 3 are based off my favorite characters off a television show.

:D I still LOVE roleplaying but sadly I don't have many RP partners ;__; which makes me sad.

I will role play my pets eventually. xD

I would love to, but I never have before, so I'm a bit unsure of how / where to begin. Also, I don't see many rp threads about pets in human forms, which is the only one I'm even marginally confidant enough to do.

I have roleplayed just about all of my pets - or at least they've made an appearance in a roleplay of mine. (In fact roleplay was pretty much how Hyo's past was "discovered")

Currently I have a story planned out for the ten guys, but I just have yet to write it, but each guy kind of has their own little side story. Eventually I'll write something containing all of them, but, when that is, I do not know.

I used to roleplay like CRAZY, and a couple of my pets were in some long term roleplays. After a while though my replies kept taking longer and longer to write, and I guess I just lost interest in them. Plus I really really hate having people wait on me to write, and then worrying if what I've written was any good. D:

Currently the only one of my pets I'm still rp'ing with is Saul, and I haven't gotten a reply in about a month. Which is no big deal, I've waited longer.

It was fun though. My goofballs tended to make any situation humorous. I always hated roleplaying with people who wanted everything to be 100% serious all the time. It's like; get a sense of humor. What did you expect a green-skinned alcoholic werewolf to act like? xD

I rp with all my pets, though I cycle through who I'm rping depending on my mood. I haven't rped Cal in a while, but I rp Albiore all the time now.

I absolutely adore roleplaying my pets, though admittedly some I like writing more than others. Though lately I just haven't had the time to do any of it. Three writing proficiency classes don't leave much time nor much willingness for creative writing for me at the moment. xP

i roleplay and write stories about all my pets :] it's too bad though that most of my rp partners have culled off my rps so it gets really annoying when you have to keep starting over with the character development

I'd love to, but I'm not sure if I could keep up... I guess I could just get to write a back story and try it out with one of my pets :)

Many of my Pets have their personality from old roleplay characters of mine but I gave up roleplaying years ago ~ not enough time and now I've also grown out of it I think.

I roleplay my pets when I can, although I don't have the patience to do it over forums so it has to be through email or over an instant messanger. Both script and lit. <3 Although, script is for quick little rps and lit is for full on serious ones. I also can't really get into playing my pets in quad/pet form, but kemonomimi and human are all good to go.

As for writing stooooories about my pets, I haven't done so yet. Although I've had a few ideas.

I'm roleplaying like half of them, currently Shin, Kajal, Tribal and Firiel are in a play.

I have a bigger story under construction that somehow makes all my pets' stories connected to others' , so I'm basically just working on with a big big story for all of them. Roleplays are there just for fun and/or deepen the characters. Except for Shin, who actually got his character after I started roleplaying him. Now he's one of my personal favorites.

I just write them little stories. Im not really into RPing very much.

Although only a few of my pets really have any kind of semi-developed story written out. I have the ideas all ready, but I need to stop being lazy and type them out. (:
