a faint memory of waking up to the sound of my clockradio going off the same time two days in a row playing the exact same song came to me a few days ago.

the song was plain white t's with hey there delilah.

so this morning i decided to play the song after i'd woken up and i've never felt so serene!

now i simply cannot stop listening to the damn song, lol.

but i found it was probably the best way i've woken up. ever.

i always wake up with a boner smile.

I always start the day with a smile when I wake up to my cat laying across my stomach and chest (coz for some reason I always lay on my back) licking my nose to get me up coz she wants her breakfast since it's my responsibility to feed her.

There's just something about knowing that she depends on me that makes me feel good and accomplished, you know?

aw, that's adorable, anica-starbell. i, too, love being woken up by my pet (dog) (though that's usually by her jumping onto the bed to lie down, so i have to move my legs because of her size).

but i catch your drift, it's kind of nice knowing there's someone/something there that depends on you, that they/it are/is your responsibility.

not really. i wake up dreading school. but i love how warm my bed is when i wake up and then the sun just brightens my whole room with this soft glow, which makes my walls look really pretty xD

pretty walls are always a plus, man

i wake up dreading school 99% of the time as well, so i feel your pain, haha. i'm also sure you and i aren't the only ones dreading school (or work) in the morning.

I wish my mornings were as good. I'm on school holiday at the moment, so I'm sleeping until 12, and it's noramlly the cat hitting my face (yes, hitting) or the letterbox going or the phone. :/ Or my iPhone ringing. I hate mornings... that's why I sleep through them when I can. xD

I always wake up with my loud radio..

This morning was odd though.. I woke up, looked at my clock.. and I SWEAR it said 8. 30, so I jumped out of my bed or I would be late.. So I go down stairs make my sandwiches, eat one. And then my mother came down, asking why I was there so early. Apparently it was only 7:30.. ¬¬

I'm never able to wake up nicely. This morning was just the worst. I woke up next to my mate Jami and we were both extremely hungover. We crashed this under age party last night (because we were bored and there was a ton of free booze) and then swiped some of it when we left XD I have so much revision to do, but I can barely lift my head. I feel bad for Jami, she has a job interview today!

damn, hangovers? i remember getting drunk on a tuesday. i tasted the alcohol on my tongue the next morning, even after having brushed my teeth multiple times. god, i felt terrible the rest of the day (wednesday).

i feel your pain, man! (/had terrible hangovers this weekend)

good luck to your friend, hopefully she won't smell too much of booze at the interview. probably wouldn't leave much of a good firsthand impression. have fun revising? P:

I've got work tonight too. I can't have another sick day or I will actually get the sack shakes head I'm not even going to attempt to revise today. I'm going to stay in this weekend and get it all done (hopefully). She woke up and had the interview in two hours. She had to ring someone to come pick her up so she could have a shower and get ready. It's for this stuffy coffee bar too, I don't think it'll go well to be honest.

ugh, have fun at work! no fun working when you're still partly drunk :B

God, I hate getting up in the morning. But since today is my last day of school i wont have to dread going to school right when i wake up in the morning.

I always start the day with my hubby bringing me coffee in bed. :)

staring at the ceiling is nice, except i always fall asleep when i do that, haha.

and, ohhh, coffee in bed... wish my parents would pick up that habit! hah. too bad i get up before them.

I love it during the spring, when you hear the birds chirping. It's nice after a silent winter. I also love it when you wake up and think you have to go to school, but then remember it is a day off.

I cannot disagree more. xD There's a bird that is seemingly living right outside my window that wakes me up every morning at 6.00am. It has the most annoying tweet ever.

I always wake up to my stereo. I put either a Green Day CD or an Ozzy Osbourne CD on repeat and fall asleep to it. It's also nice listening to a few songs in the morning while I'm still laying in my bed.
