"Hm, and you have mine for insulting you," She replied as she remained passive to his life story. Britain wanted to be a powerhouse but after the defeats it had, people were both afraid and not intimidated at the same time. It was hard being threatening and yet at the butt of everyone's joke, 'United Kingdom the threatening dog'. 'At least with him, he didn't cram c4 into candy or create poison perfume,' she mentally sniffed, remembering how some person used the perfume by accident, killing many younger and some older kids. But Natalie did not fret over it.
He sighed and lay back sipping his soda. "It matters not our pasts are behind us and that's where they must say. As me pappy told me once, drink soda, drink beer, drink water, drink anything so long as it helps you forget for a time." He paused for a second, before hesitantly throwing her a cream soda. "That's the one time I'll give you a soda but that's mainly for not ratting me out... though it seems we both have troubled pasts..." He threw an empty can away before grabbing yet another. "... So drink up."
"Hm... thank you... I will trade it in for something else," she replied as she sat the soda down. "Soda makes me boated, so taking it will affect my appearance and my ability to act in class". Natalie had a strict diet, soda was no where seen on her food chart. "Thank you anyway"
Bishop merely shrugged. "Whatever. I really didn't bring much with me though, just my clothes, my swords, my soda and my fridge." He gestured to everything next to his bed, that was organised. "And I only have three outfits so don't ask for clothes."
"Don't count on it," she somewhat snorted as she gestured towards the dresser. " I have more then enough, so I doubt I will need to ask you". She was poor but Natalie saved enough to buy clothing that was designer approved. That and it looked like he slept in his clothing. Natalie moved forward and was at the door, Soda in hand. "I am going to trade this in. I am sure you will enjoy me being gone," She replied as she closed the door. She did with her brother from time to time, now it was this kid's turn.
He smiled as she left. "See ya." He got up and stood by his nightstand looking in his 'clothes drawer'. He skimmed through his other two outfits. The first was a pair of footy pajamas that were pitch black to make him stealthy, and the second was a robe that looked like that of a character from an ancient game console he had found and played( the original final fantasy).
The robe had a matching straw hat to go with it. The character was called the black mage and upon gazing at the robe he smiled. And his parents had said his robe was a waste of money. It was his only relaxation clothes.
He picked up the robe and hat. To make sure no one looked or barged in, he walked into the screen that Natalie was just in.
Natalie traded the soda for a transmitter. It was a cheap, small one, but she trusted the person who gave it to her. She had the screen and the device so she didn't have to go back to get the other. She was fiddling with it until she stopped at the door to her room. She cocked her head to the side and went a bit past it. She took out her phone and linked both the screen to her phone, to help her check either one without having to worry about losing one. She paused at the door and again walked away from it, wondering what else she could get.
