Wow I agree Deli! I also draw best when I am emotional (happy, sad, hyper,etc) Basically, I draw best when I vent! ^_^

I draw best when I have more important things to do XD. Maybe it's a form of stress relief?

I also draw extra hard for other people. I don't know if I draw better, I just consciously put more effort into it XD.

I'm not one of these people that can draw vague sketches until I get an idea of what a character's going to look like. I need to know their appearance before I can draw anything decent. I also feel a lot more inspired if I have a personality and maybe a story for them.

Sometimes I get inspired by music though, and my art just seems to come together.

I draw best when I have artistic freedom and a pretty character. Oh, and I'm not great at simple characters, they're harder for me than slightly more complex stuff actualy. D8 AND GIRLS > GUYS, sry.

I draw best late at night, and when I've got a good clear image of what I want in my head. I also draw best when I'm not being rushed, and don't have to finish it. Sometimes I just like to doodle things. x3

I have to say, I draw best when I'm highly inspired by the subject I am going to draw. With that, I'll be able to pull a somewhat dynamic pose and don't have much trouble with the anatomy (or at least, don't have many errors to fix as when I'm not inspired enough).

In other hand, when I'm totally not inspired enough with what I am going to draw, it will be like my creativity is completely drained. I can't be creative enough to draw any pose other than stagnant, still portrait-ish and yet have troubles with basic anatomy on such really simple pose. =__=;;

Mostly I just like drawing my own thing. If I am drawing for other people, I put a lot more effort into the piece if it's a character/design that I like, or if I really like the person I'm drawing for. hello, I play favourites. ):

And I draw best when I'm not stressed out by anything. If I can't unwind and relax, I simply can't draw... even though drawing is what I use to relax most of the time.

there is a special and beautiful mood that is hard to describe, but there is where it happens.

I draw best under a lot of circumstances, after thinking about it.

1. When I'm emotional. Mostly anger/sadness triggers my drawing awesomeness.
2. When I'm doing gift-art. I love to draw for friends... :D
3. When I'm getting PAID. I'm a greedy person. >:)
4. When I'm really into an anime/game/reality show/book, I like to make characters based off of them, and I draw really well then, too.
