Stark shook his head, laughing. "It certainly isn't what I had expected." He replied. "Uh, you know I'm not sure. We should be..." He trailed off as they rounded a bend. A small cottage lay before them, tucked into a curve in the road. Behind it, through the sparse trees, he could see a good amount of farm land with cattle grazing in the distance. "Here."

Artemis stopped and Stark brought his horse up to join her. "This is it?" She asked, eyebrows raised. It wasn't what she'd expected, but then again she wasn't really sure what she had expected. She looked at Storm. "Shall we?"

When Stark told them that they were there he stopped so fast his back legs went under him. Shaking his head he then spoke, "Give me warning next time Stark." With that he then straightned up and checked his stomach and legs. Not seeing any scratches or scraps he nodded.

Hearing Artemis he raised his head up before shaking it. " Sorry love but I have a feeling I'm not welcomed." With that he pointed to where a centaur male a whole lot bigger then Storm in the muscel department was working the plow in the field. Sighing he then spoke, " I will be near but I do not think I should go up there."

Artemis eyes widened when she saw what Storm was pointing at. She would have to see what that was all about. If that centaur was working there...under duress, the information Stark had spoken of might not come so very pain-free. Artemis did not like people who exploited others. Not one bit.

"Come on, Stark. Let's go inside." She looked over at Storm. "Don't stray too far..."

She smiled a bit sadly at him and then started for the house. Stark was but steps behind her. It was a small affair, that cottage, probably just one or two rooms. Artemis assumed the farmer had no family, that he lived alone in the little cottage. It was made of dark logs and a worn thatched roof, the windows just small holes for ventilation. The door was ajar. Artemis went inside.

Wandering by lone sea-breakers, and sitting by desolate streams

Storm smiled softly before speaking, " I will be just a call away." Before she left he bent down and kissed her deeply. Touching her cheek carefully he whispered, " Don't get too hurt." With that he stepped back and watched as she and Stark left. Sighing he then turned and galloped around the home.

Setting up camp at a cave he then went to the stream nearby. Walking in he then stiffened up when he saw a female centaur. Snorting he then shook his head slightly when she came near. When she walked up to his side he whinnied to warn her off. Then rearing up he then frowned as he noticed the glazed look in her eyes. Touching her cheek he then led her to the camp. Setting her down he waited for Artemis and Stark.
