Insecurity. That's all it is. Those girls (and guys, in some cases) are just so paranoid that they overthink simple situations and come up with their own delusional theories about them. Yes, it is possible for someone to be just friends with the gender they prefer. I can be friends with people without wanting more. If your boyfriend/girlfriend treats you right and seems to be only focused on you in a romantic/sexual way, why worry? Now, if there's really something fishy going on, you can't really blame someone for being paranoid... other than that... I think it's silly. Plus, trying to control who another person can or can't be friends with? Ughhhh. Let them have their life. Stop being a relationship nazi.
