Wakes up later from the smell of the burning wood....noticing she isn't were she started she looks around spotting the bartender and smiles. "I am sorry for the trouble, thank you very much Mr......." now notices she never found out the name of the bartender....
An idle word, the Scholar's eyes on the glass in his hand. "Scholar. You may call me "The Scholar," "Scholar," or "Sir." "Barkeep" will do in a pinch. I own the Cliffside Inn." The glass was set aside, another plucked from beside it. "If you want coffee, or tea, just ask. It'll be five sP a mug; more for the more exotic drinks, but the basic drinks with sugar and milk are five. There are danishes, bagels, and other things for one sP each, and a proper breakfast for ten.
"i'll have the tea with milk and sugar please"She gets up leaving the guitar case and waving her hand at the wolf for it to stay still, and takes a seat at the bar
A nod, and the barkeep set forth a basket of various teabags in paper packets, a small wooden box full of sugar packets, and a small pitcher of milk. Decanting a stream of hot water into an empty mug, he set it before the girl with a nod. "Earl Grey, Red Rose black tea, green tea, white tea, Orange Pekoe, Chamomile, and Red Zinger. Take your pick."
She looks at the basket....amazed"This might sound....weird....but that is the most tea i have ever seen in one tavern at a time.....um...orange pekoe please....thank you"Takes the designated tea pouch and puts it in the hot water given.Waiting for the teabag to seep she pays for the tea.
The barkeep shrugged. "Then you've never been to a really good tavern. This is just the basic assortment; I've been to England. The tea varieties there are incredible...the stereotype is in place for a reason. As for making it...just tear open a packet and put it in the mug, and wait for it to steep to your preferred strength."
"i havent had the chance to travel so far.....and i believe u on the good tavern thing."She tore open the packet and placed the tea bag in the water."may i take this to my room? im still a bit tired..."

[Sure, Tabitha. Welcome on. :3]
The barkeep nodded to the girl. "Perfectly fine. Just don't spill it, or there will be a gratuity on your bill."
Tabby rushed in as fast as she could, herding her two kerubis in after her. She wiped her sopping wet hair out of her face and welcomed the comfortable warmth of the inn after the pouring rain and cold of outside. Tringle shook herself off thoroughly, drenching anyone within four feet of her, then fluffed out all her fur to dry as Auroria followed suit. "Sorry!" Tabby said, pulling a towel out of her backpack and drying off her pets. She hopped on to a stool with Tringle on her lap and Auroria sitting under her chair. "Excuse me, sir?" she asked the bartender. 'Sirs' and 'Ma'ams' always helped you get what you wanted. "I need a room if you're not too full, and some food."
Tabby gave a small smile. "Hi," she said shyly. "yes, I'm spending the night. At least, I'm not going back out into THAT weather." she indicated the storm outside. "My name's Tabby, and these are my pets, Tringle and Auroria." Tabby tapped the two kerubis on the head in turn as she talked about them.
The Scholar nodded. Sunny one day, and rainyfreezetastic the next; okay, so his word improvisation skills blew-alright, enough of that particular tangent. "Indeed. It's a hundred sP a night; meals are ten and beverages are two, long as you don't want anything exotic." To the Archan, the 'keep halflidded. "Good sir, you will need to ask your mistress if you want something to eat. I have to make a living, after all; my questing in my youth does not pay for everything." Turning back to Tabby with a wink, the 'tender continued. "And the beds hardly squeak...you can invite callers if you wish to share an evening and hardly worry about questions the next day." He grinned rogueishly.
"I'll just have the room and food, thanks," Tabby replied, wrinkling her nose slightly. Tringle was glaring daggers at the man and Auroria growled softly. She stroked their heads to calm them down. Springs? What kind of springs would they have at a hotel? She turned to Hotleray to ask, but she had already run up to her room.

[But of course, Katie.]
The 'tender gave a nod to the girls, and assurance of their being fed at their leisure, before the evening drew to a close.
Morning once more, and the Scholar was up and serving-coffee perking in its pot, kettle heating water, pets ranged about the room; things were ready to go once more.
Tabby grabbed some food, went to her own table and ate gratefully, leaving 136sp on the table for three meals, three drinks and a room. Her pets sat on either side of her, eating their own meals (as they refused to eat pet food) and obviously enjoying them. After she finished she sat lounged around. She didn't really feel like going to her room yet, and Tringle and Auroria seemed to be enjoying themselves, jumping over one another in a leap-frog game.
((OoC- Yay! ^_^))
BiC:
Katie pushed her blonde bangs out of her eyes and walked through the doors of the Inn. Kairi, her pet, an Arid Kora, sat atop her head smiling at the soothing aroma. Twi, a common Lasirus, was following closely behind. Twi had a cute little heart balloon tied around his right claw, holding it for Katie. She made it over to the counter and smiled at the barkeep. Kairi jumped off of her head to the counter, then to a chair, and finally to the floor. "Hi there, I'm Katie." She had a fairly high voice. "Um... I'd like a room... For one night to start, a plate of ham for him..." She reaches down and scratches behind Twi's ear. She stood straight once again. "Oh, this Twi and this is Kai-" She began to look around for the little Kora. Seeing her over by the fireplace she relaxed and pointed in the area. "And that is my little trouble maker, Kairi." She giggled softly. "And for her... Just a slice of watermelon, she doesn't eat that much. And um.... I'll have some eggs with toast." She reached in her pocket and pulled out her sp pouch. "Oh and one large glass of milk......" She paused for a moment. "Do you sell smoothies this early in the morning?" She had been here once before but it had been a very long time ago, and one of the best things she could remember was their delicious smoothies. "So... 140 would be enough right...?" She said trying to do the math in her head. She wasn't the greatest with numbers.
((OoC- Sorry, I'm not exactly sure how the menu is set up, but I estimated from what I read.))

The Scholar considered. "Ten sP for a smoothie. After all, they're somewhat a specialty drink, and five will do for the slice of watermelon." Accepting the sP, he switched on a hot plate behind the bar and opened one of the three minifridges and removed a pair of eggs, setting them on the cutting board beside the hot plate while he pulled a loaf of fresh-baked bread from a cupboard, cutting four slices and setting them aside while he put the bread away. "All things considered, it's a good thing I get my supplies from the local village; if I were to go back to, say, Centropolis, I wouldn't be able to buy a Trading Card off the profits I make."
[Note that he hasn't finished making breakfast next; I prefer not to make things instantaneous.]
"Hi, Katie" Tabby said to the newcomer in a friendly sort of way. "I'm Tabby, and these are Tringle and Auroria. They're kerubis. They seem to be getting along pretty well with your kora.
The two pets were including Kairi in their leapfrog game, but unfortunately they were being hit repeatedly with the kora's multiple tails. Tabby speared a piece of pancake with her fork and dug in. The food WAS really good, worth the sP, which was somewhat of a rarity. She waved her pets over.
"Come on, you guys have to eat. The food's really good and you've been walking all day." The two kerubis obediently walked over and hopped on their chairs, digging in with a somewhat subdued manner and using their best manners so they wouldn't get chucked out of the inn.
[Welcome, Filoy1.]
The innkeeper nodded to the girls, and to the man who had just entered. "Ah, welcome, everyone. Will you be having something to eat?" For Tabby, a moment of thought before the innkeeper plucked a tupperware of white gravy from a minifridge and set it in the microwave. "Chicken stew. A treat, for your pets...a tenner, as usual."
