Well, this is it. My first art auction. Please bear with me, as I have no idea what I’m doing. xD

Before we begin, though, please know that just because I refer to these pictures as “speed paintings” does not mean that I put little time or effort into creating them. On the contrary, I can devote hours to a single piece. Speed painting simply means that I paint quicker than I usually would. Why? Because I’m trying to train myself to be a faster artist and I figure this is as good a way to do it as any.

What You’re Bidding On Okay, let’s get down to business, shall we? Below are some basic examples of what you will be bidding on.

Note: the “Thigh Up” reference is not a speed painting but merely an example of how I draw human anatomy. In addition, as of now I have no example of a full body painting.

Unless otherwise stated in the auction’s description I will only be drawing one character per picture and no backgrounds. This is a human auction, but I will also consider antho characters as long as their animal features are not overly prominent. Ears, horns, tiger stripes etc. are fine, but I draw the line at paws, tails, snouts, and wings (at least for this auction).

Also, I think it only fair to worn you that I draw males very poorly. I would like to get some practice drawing the opposite sex so for this reason I am willing to try male characters, but only if you are willing to take a chance on the picture’s outcome (I’m that bad, yes). Needless to say, I prefer drawing female characters.

You may have noticed the difference in texture between the “Head Shot” and “Bust Up” references. This is due to the different programs used to create each: OpenCanvas was used for the Head Shot and Photoshop Elements for the Bust Up. Upon winning the auction, I will allow you to choose which program you wish your picture to be drawn on.

Payment Methods Just real quick, I would like to state the payment methods that I can accept.

If you are bidding with USD I will gladly accept Paypal, money order, or personal cheques. Sorry, no concealed cash.

If you are bidding with Subeta currency, I’m afraid I will only accept pure SP. Sorry, but no items or Cash Shop Credits, please.

Auction One: Head Shot The winner of this auction will receive one picture of any desired character’s face from any preferred angle. No background will be included. As far as the subject goes, I’m willing to draw HAs, fan art, or original characters. A photo reference would also be acceptable, as I would love to practice actual portraits and see how close to the original I can get. However, if a photo is provided I cannot guaranty a likeness.

Auction Two: Bust Shot The winner of this auction will receive one picture of any desired character and size drawn from the bust up, no background. Again, I can work off any reference although I cannot guaranty a likeness if a photo is provided.

Auction Three: Thigh Up The winner of this auction will receive one picture of any desired size, character, or pose as long as it’s from the thigh up. It will have either no background or a very primitive one, depending on its complexity. Unfortunately, however, due to the amount of time and effort put into a thigh up picture, I can only accept USD. Sorry.

Starting Bid: $1 Minimum Increment: $1 End Date: Ended Current Highest Bid: $2 Current Highest Bidder:

Auction Four: Full Body The winner of this auction will receive one full body picture of any desired size, character, or pose. It will have either no background or a very primitive one, depending on its complexity. Unfortunately, however, due to the amount of time and effort put into a full body picture, I can only accept USD. Sorry.
