Rebecca smiled as they came to the camping grounds; they had finally arrived and she felt a bit dizzy from the long bus ride. She combed her brown hair to the side and gave Noah a playful nudge, "Look Noah, we're finally here!" She said softly, but the tone of excitement added a ring to her voice. She got up and stretched, arching her back and letting out a yawn; her legs were filled with pins and needles, and she rubbed her hands amongst them trying to ease the numbness.
She stepped over Noah and pulled her duffle bag from the top, catching it before it landed on Noah; Rebecca gave him a sweet smile, apologizing to him for her clumsiness, "I'll meet you by the waterfall?" She asked, her head leaning to the side before shuffling out of the packed bus; everyone seemed to be in a hurry to get out.
Once she finally stepped out of the bus, her eyes and mouth widened; it was absolutely beautiful. The tall trees seemed to surround the green lush grass, packing closely together, inviting her curiosity; Rebecca knew she'd find herself venturing towards those woods one day. The teachers smiled at her when they noticed her, "Number seven sweetie." One teacher said, pointing to the tent where she'd be residing. "Thanks Ms. Joanne."
Rebecca dropped her bag at the tent and made her way towards the waterfall. She rolled her jeans up and slipped off her slippers, dipping her naked feet in and splashing about a bit, watching as the water glistened as it rolled down her feet. She didn't notice Christian was there until she peeled her eyes off and looked at the waterfall.
"Its beautiful isn't it Christian?"
Ryan was one of the first off. He had his bags and everything the site looked amazing. He had no doubt in his mind his sister was already taking pictures. He looked over the site and found his tent. Number 6. Not bad, he thought to himself. He quickly looked over to see Christian dipping his head into the waterfall. He had to do it. He quickly ran over to Christian leaving his things in the tenet. He stood behind him and gave a laugh. "You know how much fun this would be to just kick you into the water?" he asked him with a chuckle. He held out a hand. "But wait. Remember what Exo, (principle that ok?) told us before we go swimming." He said with a serious tone. "Make sure that you have not eaten in the last hour, and make sure that you are always swimming with a partner." he said in a high voice, as he used hand gestures.
Ashley watched how fast everyone got off the bus. She gave a smile and shook her head. She didn't care she would get off soon enough. She grabbed her bags, but to her the most important part was the two camera's she had brought a long. She wanted to take as many photos as she could before the month was up. She had brought lots of film, and digital flash drives. She also had brought her lap top, explaining that there would be no internet out here for her, She just needed a place to put her pictures when all was said and done. As she walked to the front of the bus she instantly was given a card with a number on it. She looked down at the paper, it said # 7. She looked confused and then realized that was the tent she was to be in. She stepped off the bus and was in bliss. It was amazing, perfect colors, contrast, everything a girl could ask and hope for. She walked over to the tent and placed her bags in there. She only had three bags, and one to place the wet swim suit in after all the swimming was done. Ashley gave a smile and waved to a few people she had seen on the bus. It was time to explore the camp. She took out one digital camera. She made a mental note to stay away from the water while Ryan was there. She would regret it if she didn't instead she went into the woods, following the trail she started to take pictures of everything and anything.
Moira rose from her seat once the bus stopped and made her way to the door. With one hand on her hip, she studied the landscape for a brief moment, then let out a deep sigh. Wonderful. They'd be staying far away from civilization - did they even have bathrooms in this place? Or electricity? She needed both those things. They obviously hadn't been allowed to bring cell phones, but she had done so anyway. She needed to stay in touch with her friends, after all, but if she didn't have anywhere to charge the batteries, it would be rather useless.
The piece of paper she was handed told her that she would be staying in tent , which didn't make her feel better or worse either way. After all, she had known it was supposed to be a camping trip. After brushing some of her hair back, she located the tent and put her things inside it, only taking her beloved Gucci bag with her. After all, she didn't want anyone snooping around in it.
"Lily," she called out, rushing towards her friend. "What do you think?" she asked, referring to the campsite. Personally, she hated it. Then again, she hated camping, and had only ever gone on this trip because her mother had told her that it would be good for... something or other. Moira honestly couldn't see how this could be good for anything at all.
Kimmie, after failing to dodge the paper ball Ashby had flung at her head, was slightly relieved yet annoyed when the bus came to a halt. She had just started up something with someone she liked, and then what she'd been wishing for for the past 5 hours happened. With a sigh, she picked up her bag, and dropped it again. "Klutz." She said to herself, tossing her head to get a lock of pink hair out of her eyes. She hitched her bag onto her shoulder, collected a ticket saying , and headed towards the large tent with the number "7" emblazoned on it. None of her popular, ditzy friends had bothered to come on this trip. Kimmie had signed up because she didn't want another "holiday" where her parents barely acknowledged her. Sure, when she wanted something, they'd snap their fingers and it would appear in front of her, but she didn't have the kind of parental love most people had. What made it worse is that Max, her younger brother, acted almost exactly the same. Being at an impressionable age meant that he took the "not a family" atmosphere as "normal". All he did was play on his latest gadget that hadn't been released yet. Kimmie got tired of Ashby, though. If he wasn't going to make a move, why should she bother? She'd already tried. He'd have to talk to her first. She had other things to do, too. She made her way to the tent, crawled inside, chose a place to put down her bright pink bedroll and sleeping bag and unpacked her stuff. She then brushed her hair, tied it up to show her shiny star-shaped earrings, and then grabbed her bag and went outside. Her bag had all her money and things - she didn't want to leave it unprotected in an empty tent. She noticed Rebecca, then wrenched her head in the other direction. Now... what was she going to do?
Blair squeezed the bridge of his nose and scrunched his eyes as Ryan tried to get the rest of the bus singing along. He looked like an idiot in dire need of attention. Blair slowly opened his eyes and found Moira shooting a cute smile at him. He bearly had time to grin back before she turned and glanced to the television. Blair watched her dark, chestnut waves fall over her shoulder slightly as she turned away from him. His bright eyes lingered on her, until he felt movement in the seat next to him. Blair dragged his eyes away from Moira, and looked to Lily who was stretching an arm. He heard her humming almost silently, reminding him of why he was so attracted to her. Blair couldn't stop the smile that spread across his lips as his eyes connected with hers. His eyes trailed away from her grasp and back to Ryan, still trying to get people to sing. "I hope we get lots of sun. I love the sun. I'm so excited!" Lily's voice was ecstatic and the seat movements seemed to suggest the same. "No shit," His voice was low with a deep seductive tone lying underneath. Blair shifted in his seat so he was angled towards her, his leg touching her knee. "But, if it gets cold and rains, I can come and keep you warm." He smiled at her with perfect teeth, and felt the bus coming to a stop. Blair diverted his attention to the rest of the bus passengers, most of whom were already up and out of their seats gathering their belongings. He huffed and smoothly stood up, which his legs thanked him for. Blair didn't realise how cramped he had been in the small space. He reached to the overhead compartment and pulled out his own and Lilys bags. Blairs single bag was alot lighter than Lilys two bags, making him wonder what she had brought... Surely it wasn't all clothes? He placed Lilys bags on his seat before slinging his own over his shoulder, grabbing his jacket and making his way off the bus. It was like stepping foot on another planet; green moss covered trees, jagged rocks, a vast grassy area... Was that a waterfall? Blair stood in awe for a few seconds before recovering. He had never been out of the city. This landscape was so alien to him. Blair was startled as a teacher handed him a sheet of paper with the number six on it. He nodded and started to the already constructed tent. He noticed the pile of bags forming outside the entry but decided to take a look inside. It was pretty big, even for a tent. There was even enough head room for all of his 6'3 with a little to spare. Blair dropped his bag and jacket, before kicking off his shoes and stepping out into the fresh air again. A few people had started to gather at the waterfall edge which made Blair curious. He shoved his hands into his pockets and strolled casually past Moira, who was rushing towards Lily. He caught her eyes and motioned towards the pond, a mischievous grin on his face all the while. Blair continued on past the group and searched for a place where the rocks met the waters edge. Maybe there would be something to jump off, too.
Christian was in his own little world, his blue eyes staring into the waterfall, until Rebecca said something to him. He turned, and tried to think of what she said, but then remembered. "Uhm, yeah, it's- it's amazing," Christian tried to think of the right words to describe the place they would be staying at. He hadn't been camping since he was eight, and he couldn't remember the camping trip he took being as beautiful.
He turned around yet again when someone else spoke to him. It was Ryan. Christian had the urge to roll his eyes, but he didn't. He'd never really liked the class clown too much, but he could deal. "You push me off into the water, I will push you off under the waterfall," Christian glared, but then grinned widely to show that he was joking. People always took his humor as murder threats. "And yes, I remember what Exo said, but I haven't ate for about three hours, so it shouldn't matter," Christian shrugged.
Ryan threw his head back in a laugh. Then looked back at Christian. "Well let's swim then." He said as he took his shirt off. Slowly he reviled a lean, little bit muscular body. Of course it was tan as well, that boy was always out and about. He looked over at the group that had started. "Sweet a party." he said with a note of sarcasm. quickly he dropped his shirt and headed to the water. He made sure when he went into the water, that he wouldn't hit anyone else with the water. So he made a dive. Since he was on the swim team is was a good drive, not his best but it was enough were he didn't get anyone wet. He was instantly surrounded by water, which felt nice. It was not hot, but not cold either, it was surprisingly the right temperature. Least for him anyway. As he came up he saw that more people had joined the group. He did notice that the only one missing was his sister. He rolled his eyes, could never go with the crowd, always had to do her own thing. That was the best thing about her though he thought. He knew he could never do his own thing, because he never knew what that was, we was the one always cracking jokes. Most of the time he didn't even find it funny he just did it.
Kimmie wasn't one to miss out on a fun party. She happily sauntered over to the little gathering, seeing that hilarious guy Ryan in the water with his top off. Immediately, a gazillion pranks crossed her mind on what to do with the top lying innocently on the ground, but she decided to leave it. It didn't look like anyone was going to jump in with him at that split second, so what did Miss Popular do? She jumped in, fully clothed. After all, someone had to continue the party vibe. Kimmie was wearing a floaty blue blouse and black shorts, so she was fine with getting soaked. Her pink hair instantly clung to her head as she surfaced, looking like she was having the time of her life. Ignoring Ryan (he obviously had his eyes set on Lily, a pretty friendly girl who was practically friends with everyone. She swept the small crowd at the edge of the pool, looking for a flash of rainbow that would surely be Ashby.
Amber stood from her seat a few minutes after the bus stopped positive she was the last one, if not almost the last one off the bus. As soon as she got off the bus some teacher handed her a piece of paper with the number 7 written on it and she assumed this was the number of the tent she was to stay in. Spotting the tent with the conspicuous number 7 on it she walked inside not amazed at all with the decorations. She traipsed to the one of the corners of the tent and dropped all her bags there then came back out with nothing in hand besides the cigarettes in her pocket. She was confident no one would bother to steal anything of hers.
She looked around and had noticed the group of people forming near the waterfall and not one for social gatherings she wandered a distance away from the area and found a smooth, large rock to sit on. After settled comfortably on it she peeled off her oversized black sweater revealing her red corset laced with black and kicked off her platform boots so she could stick her feet in to the cool water. She waited a few seconds, kicking her feet under the soothing water before she pulled out one of the many cigarettes from her pocket and lit it with her silver skull lighter. She watched the stick burn for awhile before taking a long drag and exhaling rings of smoke.
"Sure Blair. Whatever you say. But with all the body heat in each tent, I think I'll be okay." Lily laughed, just barely noticing Blair's knee touch her bare leg.
Lily smiled and thanked Blair, slinging her bags over her shoulders. For her size, Lily looked like a bit of a weakling, but over the years she had been involved in gymnastics so although she was nearly stick-thin, she was strong. Unfortunately, school had got in the way of her practices, so she'd had to quit.
Eagerly, Lily jumped down the last stair off the bus and looked around. With a sigh, she grinned sporting her straight white teeth. It had taken a few years for her teeth to look this perfect, but Lily regretting nothing now that the braces were gone. She lifted her face up to scan the sky and the scenery, pleased with the view she was greeted with. A light breeze ruffled her hair and gave her goosebumps. Unwrapping the sweater she had tied around her waist, Lily pulled her arms through it and let it hang openly over her shirt and shorts. Instantly she felt warmer and released a soft, approving sigh.
Looking up at the tall girl who had materialized by her side, Lily smiled. She could hear the disapproving tone in her friend's voice, and nudged her in the hip with her elbow. "Come on, Moi. Look around! It's gorgeous here, and watch." Lily inhaled and exhaled deeply. "You can breathe out here. You can really get a lung full of clean air." Turning her blue eyes away from her friend, Lily noticed the majority of the group gathering by a nearby waterfall. She inhaled a soft gasp. It was gorgeous.
Moments later, just as she was about to drop her things in the exact spot that she'd been standing in, she noticed Blair looking in Moira and her general direction, making a gesture towards him. Lily frowned slightly, cocking her head to the side as she always did when she was confused. Does he mean me? She noticed he was heading toward the waterfall anyway, so Lily dropped her things and turned back to Moira.
"Come on. We have to go check this out. You have to admit, the waterfall is gorgeous!" Lily grabbed her friend's hand and towed her along after Blair and toward the waterfall.
Moira noticed Blair looking at them, and sent him a smile. She automatically hoped she was the one his look was meant for, but unfortunately, she had seen how happy he had been while he was talking to Lily on the bus. They would just have to wait and see, she supposed - but if she had to choose, she silently confessed to herself that she would choose Blair over her friend. It was one of the few character traits that the spoiled diva was not proud of.
"Gorgeous? We're in the middle of nowhere, Lily," she said with disdain in her voice, shaking her head as she tagged along with the blonde. She really did try to see this place as beautiful, but a person like her just wasn't capable of being happy in a place so far away from people - lots and lots of people, not just their class and a couple of teachers. Being as dramatic as she was renowned for, she had a feeling this trip would probably make her seriously depressed.
Reaching the waterfall, she stood by the edge of the pool and stared at the water. "You don't want to swim, do you?" she asked, placing one hand on her hip and smiling faintly at Lily. Without waiting for an answer, she slipped off her top and shorts, revealing underwear that was anything but plain. She then sat down by the pool with her feet just barely touching the water and tried to locate Blair.
As the bus pulled to a halt, Noah finally felt relieved. He stood up and stretched, quickly slipping his notebook into his pocket. He was ready to help Becca out, but she left before he could, asking for him to meet her at the waterfall. Noah nodded, before gathering his own bags. He had one large bag, full of clothes, and one smaller bag, which was suprisingly heavy - it was full of gadgets, gizmos and batteries that Noah figured he'd need to survive while out in the great beyond. He had at least five MP3 players in there, two with replacable batteries, so as he could last the whole trip.
Slowly, he made his way out of the bus. He had to shield his eyes a little, he hadn't seen proper daylight in hours. The surrounding area was absolutely beautiful and green - maybe this trip wouldn't be so bad after all (his dad has made him go; would supposedly make him more of a "man", living in the great outdoors). As he left, he was handed a small piece of paper with on it, and he nodded his thanks. With a shrug, he headed over to the tent and left his stuff in a shaded corner. He tried to keep his stuff out of sight, no doubt some people would find absolute joy in throwing it into some lake.
Noah ducked out of the tent again, and ran over to the waterfall rather awkwardly, waving clumsily, "Hey, Becca!" He walked up beside her, before seeing the funny guy Ryan floating around in the water, and he gave a loud, geeky laugh, "Nice!"
He gave a quick glance around. Where the heck was Amber? He had sworn he saw her getting off the bus...
Blair chuckled to himself when he heard Lily and Moira following behind him. He had expected nothing else from the two, realising his look could have been seen interpreted the way he had intended by both of them. Blair ran a hand through his sun bleached hair as he looked over his shoulder, curiousity claiming his face. His eyes popped opened wide. Moira had stripped down to nothing but her underwear and was sitting innocently on the edge of the pond, her feet dangling over, just touching the calm water. Blair gawked at her flawless exposed skin and found he could no longer control his legs; they had made their way over to her without his permission. He yanked his eyes away and glimpsed at the others from his class. Almost everyone was gathered around the waterfall, talking amongst themselves. Blair recognised Ryan and Kimmie already swimming around in the pond and yearned to do the same. He smiled and sat down next to Moira, meeting her eyes. She had seemed to be searching for something... or someone.
Blair rolled up his khaki pant legs before draping his legs over the edge, no doubt his feet would submerge due to his height. He was right, and felt relief with the motion, the cool liquid feeling great after such a long bus ride. Blair pulled his blue v-neck top off over his head exposing his tanned, refined chest, and placed his top beside him silently. He rubbed the back of his neck and leaned forward, his elbows on his knees.
"Going swimming are we?" Blair turned his head slightly so he could see Moira again. "Won't your hair get wet?" He teased with a huge grin smacked across his face, but his eyes were gentle.
Rebecca returned her gaze to her feet, watching as they splashed about; the cool water droplets trickling between her toes. A whole bunch of people were attracted to the waterfall, just like she had been; it didn't take her long to feel nervous. Rebecca wasn't a social person, she usually kept to her kind, or those who were close to her, enjoying the quiet, familiar ways of life instead of exploring the wild paths that many chose to. She bit her bottom lip and shifted around nervously, trying to avoid the taunting from others or the constant splashes.
Her head jerked to her left as she heard Noah call for her, a smile naturally finding its way onto her soft lips. "Noah!" She called, gesturing him to come closer. She didn't mind the loud noises of the people from her class, as long as Noah was near she felt like she belonged. "Nice!" Rebecca laughed when she heard her best friend's laugh, he could make her laugh more than the class clown could; but then again it was probably just her that felt that way.
She watched as Noah glanced around, her once friendly smile turned into something much more mischievous. Rebecca stood up, and wiped her wet feet with the palm of hands, stroking the drops off before rolling her pants back down. She turned towards Noah and embraced him into a friendly hug.
"She's over by that huge rock." She whispered. Of course Rebecca knew about his feelings for Amber, she was his best friend after all, and she noticed the way he would constantly be searching for her, mindlessly drawing her, and all that jazz. Rebecca pulled away, smiling at Noah. "If you need me, I'll be in those woods." She pointed at the trees, before making her way over.
Rebecca knew she couldn't pull Noah, or anyone in. She just had to wait for them to come to her, after all, that's what she's been doing all of her life.
Ryan laughed as he watched Kimmie drop herself into the water. He gave a small cheer. He smiled as she resurfaced. "Alright Kimmie!" he said with a laugh. Though he laughter faded when he saw Lily and Moira sitting next to Blair. he gave a frown, luckily no one else had seen it, other wise they might have guessed how he felt. He closed his eyes and turned back to the crowd. He watched as almost the whole senior class was here. he gave a nod that was good, considering they were mostly the party class out of all it was no surprise. Without realizing what he was doing he had his eyes back on Lily and Moira. he gave a sigh. If Lily was into Blair he would not stand in his way, and would not try anything, because she deserved to be happy. He looked into the water, and realized there were no fish in here. He gave a smile at least his sister would be happy, she hated fish.
Click...Click...Click was all at could be heard. She had been out here for about 5 minutes and had already taken about twenty pictures. She didn't mind she loved to take them. Currently she was in a tree right now. She looked down at the ground with a frown. one thing she would not get used to. But she had gotten a great shot. Everyone of the seniors... well most.. all around the waterfall. She was surprised by how far back she was in the woods. She hadn't realized it until now. But yet in the tree she could see the whole campsite and the waterfall. It was amazing. she had taken off her hoodie she had brought just in case it was too cold. Now she was in her light shirt and her Shorts her mother specifically asked her to bring. Thought she would have preferred pants. She knew why her mom made her pack shorts and only three pair of jeans. She at least was able to wear her Sneakers Which she loved. Slowly and carefully she climbed out of the tree. Once again heading more into the woods to take pictures. Though she was careful to stay close to the trail, she didn't feel like becoming lost on this trip.
Lily laughed. "Of course I do!" Joining Moira on the ground, Lily tucked one leg under her and let the other one float in the water, but her lack of height only allowed for a slight toe touch of the water. She barely noticed when Moira peeled off her clothes, her eyes caught on the action going on further away. Lily only sort of wishes to join them, but she was perfectly happy to sit here with one of her closest friends, and she was only slightly disappointed when Blair joined them. She had wanted to exchange some girl talk while she and her friend had the chance. But Lily suspected how her friend felt about Blair, and though Blair was nothing less than hot, she felt the need to back off for her friend.
Getting to her feet, Lily turned toward the point of highest action near the waterfall. She scanned the faces, her eyes pausing on Ryan, who seemed to have been watching her. Reflexively, Lily smiled and waved back at him before taking a step forward. Teasingly, Lily gave both Moira and Blair's hair a ruffle with her hand as she made her way barefoot toward Ryan and the rest of the group.
When she reached the rest of the group, Lily climbed on a rock near the water and near Ryan and stood on it, enjoying the altitude. She was tempted to greet Ryan, but Lily's active imagination quickly got caught up on the clouds and the sky. Lily smiled for no particular reason. She was sure she was going to like it here.
Ryan quickly smiled as he saw Lily wave at him. he gave a small wave back. Luckily him standing at about 6 foot, he was able to touch the bottom, barely but able. His eyes got wide as he watched Lily come over to them and sit about as close as she could without getting into the water. Quickly without thinking he swam over to her "Hey come join us. The waters nice, and it will be a lot of fun," he said with a smirk and a little movement of his eyebrows.
Moira was a bit surprised when Lily walked away, as she, too, had been wanting a chance to talk, but as soon as she saw Blair walking towards them, she lost any will to object. Although she sent Lily as playful glare as she felt her friend's hand ruffling her hair, her attention was soon on the gorgeous jock next to her. With an innocent smile, she leaned backwards and looked up at the sun above them. Her change of poise was partly to feel more relaxed, but perhaps even more to expose more of her flat, tanned stomach. She knew she was attractive, and she wanted this boy to realize the same thing.
"It'll dry fast enough in this weather," she answered, tilting her head so that she was looking at him once again. "I mean, just stretching out in the sun..." Her voice trailed out as she ran her fingers through her dark hair, eyes fixed somewhat theatrically straight ahead. After all, Moira considered herself an actress, and she was quite able to draw attention to herself even if it meant just mentioning her body as often as she could.
"Do you want to join me?" she then asked, motioning towards the clear water. She supposed the others were right - it did look quite beautiful. However, that was not something she was planning to admit.
((OOC: Lots of posts. Sorry, I disappeared. Me and my cousin went out to the movies and went swimming and stuff. I'm back now.))
Christian watched as people gathered around the waterfall, and then sighed, before shifting uncomfortably. He wasn't a fan of a lot of people in a small area, so he jumped off the rock he was on, and glanced back at the crowd before following Rebecca into the woods.
The trees were pretty spaced out, so he didn't have to struggle to walk through them, and follow Rebecca. He did so quietly for awhile, messing with the limbs on the trees, and pulling some leaves off the branches. After a couple of seconds, he cleared his throat before speaking. "Hey, Rebecca," he mumbled. He felt shy around her, and he hoped that he didn't make a fool of himself.
Rafa watched contentedly as people headed for the water, or for the trees. He would love to go swimming, but when it was later, and the water was prettier, and his shoulders wouldn't burn. For right now, he walked, and every so often, he would glance up, and see what Ashley was doing. She was taking pictures though, so he wouldn't mess with her.
Blair didn't take his eyes off of Moira, even as Lily ruffled with his hair. It was always that little bit messy, so a little touching wouldn't make much of a difference. Hell, it might even be an improvement. As Moira leaned back and looked up into the deep blue sky, her chestnut locks and tanned body reflected the sun, seeming to make her glow in a sense. Blair almost didn't take in her response to a question he had already forgotten, his eyes focused on her delicate fingers running gently through her hair.
Imagery filled his mind of Moira, laying on her back in the sun, wearing practically nothing, looking up at Blair. That innocent smile on her face, drawing him to her...
Blair blinked away from his daydream and found Moira again. His eyes trailed from her knees up her slender body and stopping at her mouth. Blair corrected himself and looked to her hazel eyes, framed by long, dark lashes. They seemed to twinkle in the light. "I'll gladly join you," Blair emphasised the last word. "Not here though. I've been told there's bigger rocks to jump off further down the bank."
Blair rose from his sitting position and grabbed his top from the ground. He grinned down at Moira with energetic irises. "Come on, seclusion is always better. I can't even hear myself think with all the bickering and splashing." Blair tucked his thumbs in behind his silver belt buckle and tilted his head back slightly. His grin had taken on that mischievious quality it sometimes did.
